EGW ON MICHAEL

“I saw that Moses passed through death, but Michael came down and gave him life before he saw corruption.  Satan claimed the body as his, but Michael resurrected Moses, and took him to Heaven.  The Devil tried to hold his body, and railed out bitterly against God [AGAINST WHO?], denounced Him as unjust, in taking from him his prey.  But Michael did not rebuke the Devil, although it was through his temptation and power that God’s servant had fallen.  Christ [WHO?] meekly referred him [Satan] to His [Christ’s] Father, saying, The Lord [The Father] rebuke thee.”  1SG:43.

“Michael, or Christ, with the angels that buried Moses, came down from Heaven, after he had remained in the grave a short time, and resurrected him, and took him to Heaven.”  1SP:342.

“Satan claimed the body of Moses, because of his one transgression; but Christ meekly referred him to His Father, saying, ‘The Lord rebuke thee.’ ”  1SP:343.

“In this vision of the prophet, the angel Gabriel declared:  ‘The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days:  but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.’ For three weeks Gabriel had been wrestling with the powers of darkness, and seeking to counteract the influences at work on the mind of King Cyrus.  Before the contest closed, Christ Himself came to Gabriel’s help.”  RH, December 5, 1907.
