B) EGW STATEMENTS.
C) CONCLUSION.
A) INTRODUCTION
Dictionary: “Amalgamation is the action or process of uniting or merging two or more things.
B) EGW STATEMENTS
“But if there was one sin above another which called for the destruction of the race by the flood, it was the base crime of amalgamation of man and beast which defaced the image of God, and caused confusion everywhere.” 1SP:69.1; 3SG:64.1.
“Every species of animal which God had created were preserved in the ark. The confused species which God did not create, which were the result of amalgamation, were destroyed by the flood. Since the flood there has been amalgamation of man and beast, as may be seen in the almost endless varieties of species of animals, and in certain races of men.” 1SP:78.2; 3SG:75.2.
“All tares are sown by the evil one. Every noxious herb is of his sowing, and by his ingenious methods of amalgamation he has corrupted the earth with tares.” 2SM:288.2; 16MR:267.2.
“This was a plain statement that the Jews were more nearly correct in the principles of their religion than any other nation. Jesus also alluded to the faith of the Samaritans being amalgamated with the worship of graven images. True, they held that these idols were only to remind them of the living God, the Ruler of the universe; but, nevertheless, the people were led to reverence these inanimate figures.” 2SP:144.1; 4Red:28.1.
“The message given man to proclaim in these last days is not to be amalgamated with worldly opinions. In these days of peril, nothing but obedience will keep man from apostasy.” 7MR:183.2; 14MR:155.2; UL:318.4.
“The natural tendencies of the human heart cannot amalgamate with the character of Christ. The two are at variance.” 13LtMs, Ms 115, 1898, paragraph 7.
“There is constant danger that the obedient and the disobedient in the world and in the nominal churches will become so amalgamated that the line of demarcation between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not will become confused and indistinct.” 18LtMs, Ms 139, 1903, paragraph 3; 18MR:26.3.
“There is no middle path to Paradise restored. The message given to man for these last days is not to become amalgamated with human devising. We are not to lean upon the policy of worldly lawyers. We must be humble men of prayer, not acting like those who are blinded by Satan’s agencies.” 18MR:36.2; UL:310.2.
“Those who profess to be followers of Christ, should be living agencies, co-operating with Heavenly intelligences; but by union with the world, the character of God’s people becomes tarnished, and through amalgamation with the corrupt, the fine gold becomes dim. When worldly agencies are introduced into the Church, it is evident that Satan is carrying out his devices, working through those who profess to be followers of Christ, making them ready at any time to engage with him in disheartening and discouraging those who are faithful, who would stand wholly on the Lord’s side.” RH, August 23, 1892, paragraph 3.
C) CONCLUSION
EGW is clearly referencing the mixing of man with beast; various unspecific mankind with mankind; and false religion with true religion. To push any other agenda is to falsify what EGW truly meant.
