The BASIC understanding of WHAT “Replacement Theology” is, is that the Christian church (your denomination and no others) has taken over the place that the Jewish Church used to have; because they (the Jews) are not believing that Jesus is their Lord and teaching His precepts.  With that definition, let’s see if it is true.

 

The MOST important statement of our Lord that has relevance to this concept is, “salvation is of the Jews,” John 4:22.  That unequivocally demonstrates that in order to achieve salvation one most adopt the Jewish system of instructions from our Lord Himself.  That premise is established in the concept of being “grafted in,” Romans 11:17 (& verse 23 where the Lord Himself does this) to the Jewish system in order to be saved is clear.

 

Therefore, if you are “grafted in,” you are doing what, and becoming who, the Jews are or should be.  You are now what most theologians call, “Spiritual Israel.”  See my Bible Study:  “SPIRITUAL ISRAEL,” if you need help with that concept.  So, if you what to consider that the Jewish Nation is not performing their rightful place in modern history, you may have a point for the “Replacement Theology” concept.  However, now that you are a Jew, what have you replaced except your now Jewishness and old self?  I’ll let you decide.
