INTRODUCTION
Hinduism’s sacred texts are in particular “The Vedas,” along with the “Bhagavad-Gita.” It is believed that they serve as the gateways to spirituality. Other texts are the “Upanishads” the “Puranas,” and the “Mahapharata.”
The “Vedas,” is the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism and are believed to have been composed between B.C. 1500 to B.C. 500. It consists of four collections: the “Rig Veda; Sama Veda; Yajur Veda; and the Atharva Veda.” Within them are hymns, rituals, and philosophical teaching that form the foundation of Hindu beliefs and practices.
To westerners, one of the most disturbing practices of Hinduism is belief in the sacredness of the cow (cow god and elephant god). A yearly practice is to throw cow dung at each other, specifically placing it upon each other’s heads. The belief is that cow manure is sacred and beneficial. Nothing could be further from the truth, as disease is prone to spring its ugly head up after these outings.
Hinduism has many gods. As such, whatever one’s situation, one can just call upon whatever god they need to relieve themselves of their situation.
A prominent chant in Hinduism is, “Om Namah Shivaaya,” which means, “I bow to Lord Shiva.” The Hindu’s now have a book out called, “Baby Om,” by Laura Staton and Sarah Perron, which teaches you this chant, such that it is believed by doing so, you are pledging your newborn baby to be under the influence of evil spirits. If you go to almost any grocery store in the U.S.A., you can find in the tea section a tea called, “YOGI TEA.” On the boxes are Yogascriptures and how to do a Yoga pose.
THE PROMINENT GOD’S
The more prominent gods are, “Ganesh,” who is the Hindu elephant god. “Hanuman” is the Hindu monkey god. The point is, that these are an amalgamation of man (the elephant and monkey heads being on human bodies), which promotes Evolution. And “Nirvana” (believed in by the Hindu’s, Jainism, and Buddhists) is a state where men in the Hindu religion have achieved this “State of Nothingness,” the final goal of Buddhism. They are thought to be like gods equal to “Ganesh” and “Hanuman.” In reality, it means complete possession of yourself by “Ganesh,” “Hanuman,” and or any other Hindu (demon) god, or multiple gods.
Hinduism has become popular in the movie industry. The Hindu god “Avatar,” is a blue mermaid who holds a medallion, known as a “mudra,” which is used to invoke fallen spirits. This is the Bibles “Moloch” and his star (Amos 5:26). In Hinduism and Buddhism, it is used as a seal to open and close doorways to the spirt world. This “Avatar” also holds four children. Red and yellow and black and white, all are precious in His sight. Sound familiar? It’s from the song, “Jesus Loves The World.” The “Avatar” is holding them to her breasts, implying that she is feeding them and that she wants to control all of the children of the world through Hinduism. In fact, the Roman Catholic pope has on his tiara (crown) this same medallion inscribed upon it. Meaning, they have the same goal.
The good news it that it is obvious that people are starving for spirituality. And the opportunity for Christians is to fill that void. The problem comes with the fact that many people that seek out Yoga are thinking it is non-religious; while they believe the Christian is throwing religion at them.
THE RELIGION ITSELF
Prominent themes in Hindu beliefs include “Karma,” which is “action, intent and consequences);” “Samsdra,” which is “the cycle of death and rebirth;” and the four “Purusarthas,” which are the proper goals or aims of human life, namely: “dharma,” meaning, “ethics/duties;” the “Artha,” meaning “prosperity/work;” the “Kama,” meaning “desires/passions;” and the “Moksha,” meaning, “liberation/emancipation from passions and ultimately Samsara.”
Hindu religious practices include devotion (bhaku), worship (puja), sacrificial rites (yajna), meditation (dhyana), and Yoga. Hinduism has no central doctrinal authority and many Hindus do not claim to belong to any denomination. However, scholarly studies recognize four major denominations: “Shaivism; Vaishnavism; Shaktism; and Smartism.”
In reality, Hinduism is a very sensual religion, which enables it to draw so many of the unwary. If you go to India, you will find that the country is very filthy. The plainest explanation is because the religion teaches that you are not to help people (specifically the poor), because Hinduism teaches reincarnation. Thus, you don’t have to help anyone, for they will have it better or worse in the nest life. And if you help any person, than they will not be living a life that will pay for their past sins and will not be able to achieve a higher status in the next life; but will have to live this bad life again.
The bottom line of Hinduism, is that you can achieve divinity by yourself. In other words, you don’t need Christ or any other religion other than Hinduism in order to live forever. Now can you see Satanism in this religion?
However, one is constantly “Reincarnated,” meaning you most likely will never achieve your goal.
From Mar:133.5: “These theories, followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They do away with the necessity for the atonement and make man his own savior. These theories regarding God make His Word of no effect, and those who accept them are in great danger of being led finally to look upon the whole Bible as a fiction.”
