WHAT YOGA IS.

TO THE BASE OF THE PROBLEM.

INTRODUCTION

Let me begin with:  “Any Form Of Exercise Is Beneficial.”  By contrast, when you know that the exercise has religious/spiritual implications, buyer beware.  If you believe Yoga, as an example, is not spiritual, read the rest of this article.  An example would be, if you are participating in Catholic, Protestant, or whatever practices, you are subjecting yourself to those spiritual influences.

If you go to almost any of the Yoga websites, you will find this quote (or something like it):  “Our goal is to evangelize the world with Hinduism.  And we have succeeded the greatest success in the Western states.”  And the reason they say they can claim this truth, is because they have a church on many a street corner, called, “The Yoga Studio.”

WHAT YOGA IS

Yoga literally means, “To Combine; To Bine; To Connect; To Marry.”

Yoga is one of the six teaching of Hinduism.  It is a Hindu ritual.  Although, it is atheistic in nature.  Each stretching exercise has a meaning in Hinduism.  A small breakdown would be:

Warier One; Warier Two; Warier Three = which equals “an act of beheading,” which is modeled in the exercise that resembles an act of moving the severed head and offering it to one of the Hindu gods.

The 12 “Surya Namaskar Mantras,” have all meanings and  postures designed for the worship of the “sun,” understanding that in Hinduism thought, it is the all-powerful force for life itself.  In other words, every one of these 12 positions (exercises) has a meaning towards the posturing worship to and of the “sun.”

In Ezekiel, Chapter Eight, God points out that the Priests of God’s Holy Temple, even they were turning their backs against it (God) and worshiping the “sun.”  God Himself calls this an “abomination.”  The Yoga exercises are designed for the person to be bowing in worship to the “sun.”

In Hinduism, when it comes to Yoga, the ultimate goal is:  “To Be Like God.”  The teaching is, there is no God, but you are the god, but you do not know you are the god or goddess.  What needs to be inserted here is that although you may not feel these things are so, or you are not performing these exercises for these purposes, your devout Yoga teacher knows exactually what he is getting you involved in.

When in the Yoga class, you are to constantly chant, or mantra, “Om,” which is an affirmation of a “Divine Presence.” Which “Divine Presence” does Hinduism teach you should ask.  A mantra is not just a word repeated.  In Hinduism, it is used in order to invoke and channel a Hindu deity (they have many, which one would you like?).  However, when they say “Om,” they are actually channeling to the “Sun god,” which is believed in by the Hindu’s, Jainism, and Buddhists.  Others you can look up.  But another prominent chant is, “Om Namah Shivaaya,” which means, “I bow to Lord Shiva.”

Genesis, Chapter Three, teaches us, that from the beginning, Satan has taught mankind that you can become, “like God.”

The “Eight Limbs Of Yoga” come to us from the teaching that the serpent (Christians should pick up on this creature), took the form of a man, and brought us these “Eight Limbs,” for mankind to practice.  There is too much here to get into without a total discussion of Hinduism, which Christians do not need to get involved with.

In the Bible, your body is to house the God.  It is to be the temple of God.  In Yoga (Hinduism), your body is your temple; not God’s temple.  Because you are the god.  Or better, you are to become the god because there is Divinity in you.  In Yoga, this is how you bring out this divinity within you.

The word “Yoga” is connected to the English word, “yoke.”  Does this remind you of the Bible verse, “Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me,” Matthew 11:29?  This implies union with Christ.  The word “Yoga,” in the Sandscript Hindu language literally means, “Union with a Brahma.”  Brahma is just another of the many Hindu gods.

“Brahma” is another of the Hindu gods.  According to “ANADA SANGA WORLDWIDE,” one of the largest Yogaorganizations in the world, the complete definition is, “Yoga means union with God (Brahma), or union of the little ego-self with the divine Self, the infinite Spirit. . .  Yoga is primarily a spiritual discipline.”

For those Christians that attempt to tell you that, “No, it’s just exercise,” “ANADA SANGA WORLDWIDE” tells you specifically that, “Yoga is primarily a spiritual discipline.”  And according to a recent “USA Today” study, “Yoga has grown to be a 27-billion-dollar industry, with estimated 20 million practitioners in the USA alone. . . Making Yoga one of the fastest growing health and fitness activities in the world.”  Most people are not aware of the total religious atmosphere they are putting themselves into.  Many

As much as 20 years ago you had to seek out a place to practice Yoga.  Now you can go to almost any book store and find a Yoga section.  Doctors across the globe are even promoting it for “health reasons.”  A new movie, “Avatar,” promotes Hinduism.  “Avatar” is a Hindu god, colored in blue.  The word in “Sandscript Hinduism” literally means, “Those who descended or fell from the heavens.”  The “Avatars” in the movie are colored blue.  The point of the movie is that if the humans could blend with an “Avatar,” then the humans could destroy the “Avatar’s” from the inside out.  Remember, in Hinduism/Yoga you are supposed to become a god.

TO THE BASE OF THE PROBLEM

What Christians fail to recognize, is that Yoga is presented as a “Health Message.”  Thus, it hides under this guise.  For the Christian not to distinguish the driving forces behind Yoga (Hinduism; playing with the Devils tools), is to place oneself on the enemy’s ground and hope to receive whatever exercise benefits without the other is carelessness (couldn’t care less).

By practicing the arts of the system, you are becoming a part of the system.  In Freemasonry (see my Bible Study upon that), you don’t just start waving your hand signals around without starting to know what they mean and becoming a part of that system.  That is the caution.

Back to the health message.  In the Bible, the health message is given in order that one might better be able to be free from one’s stomach and be able to better “Keep God’s Commandments.”  In Yoga, it is to be able to “Brake God’s Commandments,” because you are the god (and there are no Commandments; i.e., atheism).
