A) INTRODUCTION

 

 

In 1911, Turkey established Gun Control.  And from 1915-1917, One-And-A-Half Million (1,500,000) Armenians were killed.

 

In 1929, the Soviet Union established Gun Control.  And from 1929-1953, Twenty Million dissidents were killed.

 

In 1935, China established Gun Control.  And from 1948-1952, Twenty Million citizens were systematically killed.

 

In 1938, Germany established Gun Control.  And from 1939-1945 it killed over 6,000,000 Jews, and around 7,000,000 Gypsies, Russian prisoners, and other citizens deemed anti-Nazi.

 

In 1956, Cambodia established Gun Control.  And from 1975-1977, One Million people were exterminated.

 

In 1964, Guatemala established Gun Control.  And from 1964-1981, One Hundred Thousand Mayan Indians were rounded up and killed.

 

In 1970, Uganda established Gun Control.  And from 1971-1979, Three Hundred Thousand Christians were killed.

 

In 1979, Rwanda established Gun Control.  And in 1994, Eight Hundred Thousand people were killed in just 100 days.

 

However, there is “no direct link to Gun Control and Authoritarian Regime’s” for these statistics according to your Gun Control advocates.

 

 

B) A LITTLE HISTORY LESSON

 

 

At the end of World War II, 15 million soldiers, trained in the use of military grade weapons, returned to the United States, and including the general population, there were literally weapons everywhere.  You would go to your High School football game and there would be pickups with rifles or shotguns in the back windows and handguns on the seats.  BUT THERE WERE NO SCHOOL SHOOTINGS.

 

There was NO gun regulations back in the 1950’s and a child (16 or older) could by a gun in any state.  You could even order a gun from the Sears catalog and have it shipped to you.  Yet there were NO MASS SHOOTINGS.

 

It wasn’t until 1968 in America that serial numbers were required on firearms.  This was the first form of regulation (tracking).  If you go as far back as 1868, do you know what was NEVER built into houses and housing developments?  Door locks.

 

Thieves will not go up to a house with the intent of stealing something, because almost all country folks are known to have guns in the home.  The percentage of crime outside of the cities is minimal if measurable at all.

 

The point is, it wasn’t until we told our children in High School that their ancestors were apes and guns received so many UNCONSTITUTIONAL laws and regulations that criminals now outnumber regular law-abiding gun owners. And since God in out of the schools, we now have so many mass shootings, teenage suicides, and a turning away from God (which kept things in check) society.
