A) TAOISM
Taoism is a Chinese philosophy based on the writings of Lao-tzu (6th Century B.C.), advocating humility and religious piety. Taoism (also called Daoism) is a religious or philosophical tradition of Chinese origin that emphasizes living in harmony with the Tao (also Romanized as Dao). The term “Tao,” means “way, path,” or “principle,” and can also be found in Chinese philosophies and religions other than Taoism.
B) YIN-YANG
From Taoism sprang the Yin-Yang religious system. In Chinese philosophy, “yin” and “yang” describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. As opposed to Christianity, where light and darkness are separate, the dark side and the lighted side intermingle.
C) DIVINATION, SPIRITISM, AND NUMEROLOGY AND ASTROLOGY
(See my Excel Spread Sheet to better understand the particular branches)
Yin-Yang then branched off into Divination and Spiritism. Numerology and Astrology stayed more in line with Yin-Yang, but still developed their own characteristics. For example, they developed into “5 ELEMENTS.” These are: 1. Fire (Mars); 2. Water (Mercury); 3. Earth (Saturn); 4. Metal (Venus); 5. Wood (Jupiter).
Now let’s look at what happened to Divination and Spiritism. First, Divination.
D) I-CHING
Divination became what is known as “I-Ching” (Pronounced Eye-Chee), which is a “Book of Changes,” composed of 64 Hexagrams. It is one of the Five Classics, the fundamental books of “Confucianism.” It is thought to be over 3000 years old; the symbols of which are used in divination. It is also thought to be one of the oldest forms of divination.
E) 5 SHEN
From Spiritism sprang 5 Shen, which is 5 spirits associated with 5 “Yin” organs. They are: 1. SHEN (Mind) - HRT; 2. ZHI - Will Power - K; 3. YI - Thought - SP; 4. PO - Corporeal Soul - LU; 5. HUN - Ethereal Soul - LV.
Keep in mind with the following, that these are Demon Spirits we are talking about.
The first one, which is the “Shen of the Mind,” is located in the “Heart,” which is over the others; considered to be the “Emperor.” The rest of the Shen are ministers to the Heart.
The second one would be “Will Power,” which is said to be in the Kidneys.
The third one is “Thought,” which is connected to the spleen.
The fourth one is “Corporeal Soul,” which is the ability to sense and feel things; but it dissolves at death.
The fifth one is the “Ethereal Soul,” which enters the body at birth, but at death it remains alive, leaving the body and going out into the atmosphere.
Are you done with this mumble-jumble yet? In other words, this is Spiritualism (with no life after death).
F) NUMEROLOGY AND ASTROLOGY
From Numerology and Astrology (not discussed here) sprang the “5 ELEMENTS.” These are: 1. Fire (Mars); 2. Water (Mercury); 3. Earth (Saturn); 4. Metal (Venus); 5. Wood (Jupiter). You may have noticed that each of these are associated with planets. Why? Because when using Acupuncture, it is best to be done when the planets, or planet is aligned correctly (Spiritualism).
Also, the concept for using Acupuncture, is to let the bodies “Qi” (pronounced Chee), circulate between the bodies 12 molecular channels. And this is based upon Astrology, in that the Sun, in its celestial sphere, circulates in a circular pattern. The belief is, “As above, so below.” In other words, “As in the heavens, so it is in the microcosm (the body).” The bottom line, is that the 12 molecular channels correspond to the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac.
All of these are associated with the 5 SHEN. In other words, “Fire” goes with the Mind; “Water” goes with the “Will Power;” “Earth” goes with the “Thought;” “Metal” goes with the “Corporeal Soul;” and “Wood” goes with the “Ethereal Soul.” Horoscopes come from this.
And from Numerology and Astrology, and Divination and Spiritism, all combined into “TCM.”
G) TCM
TCM is just an abbreviation for, “Traditional Chinese Medicine.” Such as Acupuncture; Herbs (this may not be bad depending upon the particular Herb suggested and its use; i.e., get your advice from somewhere else other than these Chinese Herbalists); “Tai Chi” (a form of exercise; which would be fine without the eastern mythical connections); “Qi Gong” (Qi is pronounced, Chee); “Cupping;” and “Moxibustion.”
KEEP IN MIND that every one of these are connected and interrelated. Satan doesn’t care how you start with something. But he keeps you hooked by getting you deeper and deeper into it.
I’ll let you look into these if you like. But suffice it to say that the spiritual traps that are laid out for one whom is unaware can be deadly. You have been warned.
