Biblical Condemnation of LGBTQ+
A) INTRODUCTION.
B) TO THE VERSES.
C) POSITIVE TEXTS TO USE.
A) INTRODUCTION
What does LGBTQ mean? Here is the standard (by “standard” I mean most used) definition: “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (often used to encompass any sexual orientations or gender identities that do not correspond to heterosexual norms) and Queer.” Did you notice that even the “standard” definition acknowledges that these people are not “normal?”
The LGBTQ community insists upon not defining one’s sexuality in abject rebellion of the reality around them. This represents the pinnacle of human insurrection. When I first became a parent, the doctor would pronounce, “You got yourself a little” boy or girl. But the LGBTQ group wants them to “find out for themselves.” These people should not be parents, since they are not blind (but want to be blind to what they see); but they cannot change a diaper because they don’t know how to put on a male child’s diaper, or female child’s diaper; nor how to properly clean each (yes, you clean a female baby different from a male baby).
In regards to transgenderism, let’s be realistic. Bears, Lions, Dogs, Cats, in other words, any animal other than Humans, do not have any problem identifying who is a male or which is a female. Only silly humans with a political agenda, or misguided education, can come to a point when they say (being a male), “I am a female.”
TRUE SCIENCE, which we would be talking about (exploring) “Biology” here, absolutely, positively, unarguably, can identify male or female at birth. Even if the delivering doctor is blind (to the evidence), he/she can feel the difference.
If you want a sex-change, that still “proves” that you know/knew your original identity. The bottom line is that one does not want to acknowledge that humanity has value (because humanity is created in the image of God). And that is the problem for Transgenders.
What is behind all of this is a fundamental rebellion in the secular world-view. God explains it in Psalm 12:8: “The wicked walk on every side {strut around with joy}, when the vilest men are exalted.” But before anyone can get to this point in their journey on this earth before Christ Comes a Second Time in Glory, a few verses before (Psalm 12:4) explains how they got to the previous point: “Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?” The KEY being, “Who is Lord over us?” Obviously, not acknowledging any responsibility to any Supreme Being; let alone to societies established laws.
B) TO THE VERSES
What we as Christians need to do is to talk about (and be an example of) the positive Christian outcomes of being in a Christian marriage, before one gets to the condemnation verses of:
Genesis 19:5-7 (Lot exclaims: “brethren, do not so wickedly”).
Leviticus 18:22.
Leviticus 20:13.
Deuteronomy 23:17.
Judges 19:22 (called “sons of Beliel”).
First Kings 14:24.
First Kings 15:12.
First Kings 22:46.
Second Kings 23:7.
Isaiah 3:9.
Ezekiel 16:49-50.
Jeremiah 6:15.
Romans 1:24 & 26-28.
First Corinthians 6:9 & 10 & 18.
First Timothy 1:10.
Hebrews 13:4.
Jude 1:7 & 10.
Jesus in particular defines correct relationships when He stated: “And He answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that He {GOD} which made them at the beginning made them male and female.” Matthew 19:4. When presenting facts to people who do not what to hear the facts, explain to them that they are arguing with God and not you. Sadly, you may find that you cannot reason with the unreasonable.
