THE TRUTH BEHIND
THE MISHNAH

A) INTRODUCTION.

B) HERE IS THE TRUTH.

C) BOTTOM LINE.

D) OTHER SOURCES.

A) INTRODUCTION

The Mishnah is the “Torah” and the supposed “Oral Law” given to Moses at Sinai.  Here is “Mishna, Pirkei Avot 1,” where it states, “Moses received the Torah [NOTE:  Meaning both the written and the oral Law] at Sinai and transmitted it to Joshua, Joshua to the elders, and the elders to the prophets, and the prophets to the Men of the Great Assembly.  Thy said three things:  Be patient in [the administration of] justice, raise many disciples and make a fence round the Torah.”

B) HERE IS THE TRUTH

From “Midrash Tahanuma, Ki Tisa 34,” which explains why the Mishnah was not written down until much later, we have this gem:  “. . .when God said to Moses Write thou, Moses wanted to write the Mishnah as well.  However, God foresaw that ultimately the Gentiles would translate the Torah into Greek [NOTE:  The “LXX,” better known as the “Septuagint,” was actually written by 72 Jewish {elders} scholars in Alexandrea, Egypt, in the third century B.C., making this Jewish claim of the Mishnah already a lie] and would claim:  ‘We are Israel.’  [NOTE:  You cannot be the true Israel because you do not have the Mishnah].

“So God told the Gentiles:  ‘You claim that you are My children, but I know that only those who know My mysteries are My children.  And what is My mystery? [NOTE:  In other words, whoever holds God’s mystery is the true Israel.  And that mystery is] That is the Mishnah, which was given orally.” [NOTE:  The Mishnah was written from approximately near the end of the first century A.D. to the early third century A.D.  In other words, supposedly Moses did not write it down so that the Gentiles could not copy it and be called the true Israel.  These are all Jewish traditions and poor excuses for lying].

Here is the “key.”  Stating “the Gentiles would claim we are Israel,” is not something that was known at Sinai.  The Mishnah, which was written in the first century A.D., now exposes itself as a rebuttal to the New Testament.  In other words, the Mishnah, claiming to be passed down from Sinai, was actually written as a response or attach, if you will, to the New Testament.  In other words again, the Jewish community were jealous for their traditions and wanted to make sure all Jews did not read the New Testament.

C) BOTTOM LINE

The Jews felt compelled to write down their “Oral Law,” to combat the New Testament, making the Mishnah their “New Testament.”  In reality, the writing of the “Oral Law” was a struggle between the Messianic Jews and the Rabbinic Jews.

According to Gafni, he declares, “that writing of the Oral Law was part of the struggle between Rabbinic Judaism and the NT faith.”  He also claims, “that the placing of the NT side by side with the Hebrew Bible caused the rabbis to present their own ‘New Testament’ which is the Mishnah.  Only the rabbis claim it was given already by God at Sinai.”

We can also know this because the “Talmud” even quotes from the New Testament, whereas the Mishnah does not.  Remember, the Mishnah is claimed to be known since Sinai, whereas the New Testament was not; and therefore, the Mishnah is the true New Testament.  Concluding with, we are supposed to believe that this Mishnah was passed down word for word for almost 1,500 years until it was written down by the rabbinic Jews.  Good luck with that.

Here is a point to ponder.  Had the New Testament not been written down, there most likely might not have ever been a reason for the writing down (making up of) the Mishnah.

Back to my INTRODUCTION.  The statement, “raise many disciples” is in direct agreement with Christ’s commission to His disciples in Matthew 28:19, thus, correlating to the attach upon the New Testament.

The dirty truth then, is that Rabbinic Judaism was born out, or a response to Messianic Judaism, just as the Mishnah is a response to the New Testament.

Another sad truth is that the Mishnah influences what passages of the “Torah” and prophets are read in the synagogue, and which are not.  In other words, passages such as Isaiah, Chapter 53, and any others that reference the Messiah, are never heard by the general Jewish public.  They are purposely being misled.

D) OTHER SOURCES

According to Professor Israel Yuval, “Had there been no Paul the apostle, there would not have been a need [for] Rabbi Akiva.  [NOTE:  Rabbi Akiva is a renowned Jewish Rabbi from the early first century, who died in the second Jewish revolt in 135 A.D.].  Without the ‘Apostles’ Teaching’ (see Acts 2:42), there would be no need for the Oral Law.”

Yuval also notes, “how two opposing Jewish interpretations of the Passover immerged after the second temple was destroyed.  In place of the Passover sacrifice, there were two competing narratives. The NT claims that the Passover redemption is fulfilled in Yeshua.  The rabbis who rejected Yeshua, pointed to a future redemption by means of the ‘Haggadah.’ ” [NOTE:  Haggadah, literally meaning, “the telling,” of the Passover story, through Jewish tradition].

Thus, Yuval concludes, “that the Passover Haggadah is a response to the Gospel of Mark.”  He then compares the Apostle Paul to Rabbi Akiva.

Paul grew up as a devoted Pharisee; Akiva became a devoted Pharisee.

Paul persecuted Messianic Jews; Akiva persecuted Pharisees (wise disciples).

Paul went from a Pharisaical persecutor to being persecuted for his faith in Yeshua; Akiva went from a persecutor of Pharisees into a persecuted Pharisee.

Paul supported Yeshua as the Messiah; Akiva supported Bar Kochba as the Messiah.

Paul was imprisoned in Caesarea and was executed by the Romans; Akiva was imprisoned in Caesarea and was executed by the Romans.

Paul was born as a religious Jew, but is known by Jews as a convert to Christianity; Akiva was born as a Gentile, but is known by Jews as a convert to Judaism.  {NOTE:  In other words, Paul is no longer considered to be a Jew; whereas Akiva is, even though a convert, becoming the greatest Jew of all].

Paul is considered [within Judaism] as the founder of Christianity; Akiva is considered as the founder of Rabbinic Judaism.

According to Professor Martin Buber, ”The most famous Messianic religions in the world, i.e., Christianity and Judaism, were both founded by a Pharisee, Paul and Akiva!”  As quoted in “Ido Harari,” page 97.

Rabbi Akiva was once asked, “Why did you write bite as a donkey instead of a dog?”  He replied, “I hated the disciples of Yeshua do much that a dog only bites so hard.  But a donkey bites down to the breaking of the bone.”
