THE QUR'AN'S
SCIENTIFIC MIRACLES

Surah 18:86:  “until he reached the setting point of the sun, which appeared to him to be setting in a spring of murky water, where he found some people.”

The “sun” obviously does not set “in a spring of murky water,” and “people” will not chose to live in such a place.

Surah 21:30:  “Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were once one mass then We [WHO IS WE?] split them apart?  And We [WHO IS WE?] created from water every living thing.  Will they not then believe?”

The understanding of “one mass” goes along with the “Big Bang Theory,” in that this is where supposedly an explosion took place.  The concept of “split them apart” actually comes from a form of understanding the Bible, when it states, “God created the heaven and earth,” Genesis 1:1, and “stretched out the earth above the waters,” Psalm 136:6.  See also Isaiah 42:5 & 12; 51:13; Jeremiah 10:12; 51:15.  No Cosmologist will teach that from the earth came the Cosmos.

Surah 23:12-14:  “[12] And indeed, We [WHO IS WE?] created humankind from an extract of clay, [13] then placed each ˹human˺ as a sperm-drop in a secure place, [14] then We [WHO IS WE?] developed the drop into a clinging clot, then developed the clot into a lump of flesh, then developed the lump into bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, then We [ WHO IS WE?] brought it into being as a new creation.  So Blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators.”

Let’s summarize this:

1) We Have “Clay.”

2) Then We Have A “Sperm-Drop.”

3) Then We Have “A Clinging Clot.”

4) Then We Have “A Lump Of Flesh.”

5) Then We Have a “Lump Into Bones.”

6) Then We Have “Bones With Flesh.”

7) Equaling “A New Creation.”

So if I’m understanding this correctly, we have (4) “flesh” underneath our (5) “bones,” which are then again covered with (6) “flesh.”  Does that sound scientific to you?

Surah 55:19-20:  “[19] He merges the two bodies of fresh and salt water, [20] yet between them is a barrier they never cross.”

Muslim commentators say that there is land between the two.  By contrast, that is not what the verse states.
