A) INTRODUCTION

 

 

The Muslim Delema goes something like this.  And before you read this.  Do you only listen to your Imams, Sheeks, Dawah, and Muslim leaders?  Or do you attempt to read, study, and affirm what Allah really is trying to teach you?  In other words, check it out for yourself and quit being lied to.

 

The Qur’an affirms the “Accuracy,” “Authenticity,” “Authority,” “Inspiration,” “Perfect Preservation,” and “Viability” of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures.  See my Commentary on, “QUR’AN AND THE GOSPELS,” which discusses SURA:3:2-4; 47-48; 64-65; 5:43-49; 65-68; 110; 7:157; 9:111; 48:29; 57:27, which all AFFIRM the “Accuracy,” “Authenticity,” “Authoritative,” “Inspirational,” “Perfect Preservation,” and “Viability” of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures.  YES, THE QUR’AN AFFIRMS THEM AS BEING PERFECTLY PRESERVED!!!

 

By contrast, Imams, Sheeks, Dawah, and Muslim leaders CONTRADICT their own Qur’an by stating that the “Accuracy,” “Authenticity,” “Authority,” “Inspiration,” “Perfect Preservation,” and “Viability” of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures, are CORRUPTED or only PARTIALLY true.  PLUS, the Qur’an itself confirms that you ARE NOT to say of the Qur’an that it is only partially true.

 

According to SURA 2:85, Allah speaking to Muslims, “Do you, then, believe in part of the Book [the “Accurate,” “Authenticated,” “Authoritative,” “Inspirational,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viability” of the Qur’an] and disbelieve in part [of it]? [If so] And what is the recompense of those who do so but disgrace in the life of this world? [Your punishment will be] And on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most severe punishment.”

 

In other words, you are to believe in the “Accuracy,” “Authenticity,” “Authority,” “Inspiration,” “Perfect Preservation,” and “Viability” of the Qur’an, or Allah will CONDEMN you.  If your Imams, Sheeks, Dawah’s, and Muslim leaders continue to tell you that the Qur’an, or that the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures are corrupted in any way, Allah CONDEMNS them, and you if you believe them, to HELL.

 

Many Muslims claim the Jewish and Christian Scriptures have been corrupted.  But they cannot show this claim from the Qur’an.  Their Imams, Sheeks, Dawah’s, and any other Muslim leaders or prominent outspoken Islamists, point to Sura 3:78, which states:  “There are some among them who distort the Book with their tongues to make you think this ˹distortion˺ is from the Book -- but it is not what the Book says. They say, ‘It is from Allah’ but it is not from Allah.  And ‘so’ they attribute lies to Allah knowingly.”  Common sense tells you that when someone says something “with their tongues,” that does not mean that that is what the Scriptures actually say.  When a Muslim says “with their tongues” that the Qur’an says something it doesn’t, should we then form a band of people and follow that blasphemer?

 

 

B) TWO POSSIBILITIES

 

 

Thus, there are only TWO possibilities in regard to the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures according to the Qur’an.

 

1) Either, Jews and Christians HAVE the “Accurate,” “Authenticated,” “Authoritative,” “Inspired,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viable” version of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures.

 

2) Or they DO NOT have the “Accurate,” “Authenticated,” “Authoritative,” “Inspired,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viable” version of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures.

 

There can only be these TWO OPTIONS.

 

Thus, let’s look at these two possibilities.

 

1) IF Christians and Jews have the “Accurate,” “Authenticated,” “Authoritative,” “Inspired,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viable” version of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures, ISLAM IS FALSE; Because parts of the Qur’an and Islams Imams, Sheeks, Dawah’s, and its leaders contradict those Scriptures by saying THEY ARE CORRUPTED.

 

2) BY CONTRAST, IF Christians and Jews DO NOT have the “Accurate,” “Authenticated,” “Authoritative,” “Inspired,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viable” version of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures, ISLAM IS FALSE; Because by AFFIRMING the “Accuracy,” “Authentication,” “Authoritativeness,” “Inspiration,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viability” of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures, parts of the non-perfectly preserved Qur’an is faulty, and your Imams, Sheeks, Dawah’s, and Leaders are lying to you.

 

CONCLUSION

 

If Christians and Jews HAVE the “Accurate,” “Authenticated,” “Authoritative,” “Inspired,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viable” version of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures, ISLAM IS FALSE.

 

If Christians and Jews DON’T HAVE the “Accurate,” “Authenticated,” “Authoritative,” “Inspired,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viable” version of the Hebrew and Christians Scriptures, ISLAM IS FALSE, BECAUSE your own book teaches you to be reading the BIBLE and not your corrupted Qur’an.

 

EITHER WAY, ISLAM IS FALSE.

 

 

C) TO THE VERSES

 

 

Consider this conclusion by reading it for yourself in your own scriptures; remembering that SURA 5:13-16 contradicts the below:

 

SURA 3:2-4:

 

“[2] God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting. [3] He sent down the Book upon thee in truth, confirming [the Toran and the Gospel] what was before it [before the Qur’an; Arabic “ma bayna yadayhi”], and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel [4] aforetime, as a guidance to mankind.  And he sent down the Criterion.  Truly those who disbelieve in the signs of God shall have a severe punishment [Any Muslim saying the Torah and the Gospels have been corrupted will face “severe punishment” from the following sentence].  And God is Mighty, Possessor of Vengeance.”

 

SURA 3:45-48:

 

“[45] When the angels said, ‘O Mary, truly God gives thee glad tidings of a Word from Him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, high honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought nigh. [46] He will speak to people in the cradle and in maturity, and will be among the righteous.’ [47] She said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a child while no human being has touched me?’ He said, ‘Thus does God create whatsoever He will.’  When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is. [48] And He will teach Him the Book, Wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel.”

 

SURA 3:64-65:

 

“[64] Say, ‘O People of the Book! [the Torah and the Gospel] Come to a word common between us and you, that we shall worship none but God, shall not associate aught with Him, and shall not take one another as lords apart from God.’  And if they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we are submitters.’ [65] O People of the Book!  Why do you dispute concerning Abraham, as neither the Toran nor the Gospel was sent down until after him?  Do you not understand?”

 

SURA 5:43-49:

 

“[43] But why do they come to you [Mohammed] for judgment when they ˹already˺ have the Torah containing Allah’s judgment, then they turn away after all?  They are not ˹true˺ believers [if they ignore the instructions as given in the “Torah”].

 

[44] Indeed, We [WHO IS “WE?”] revealed the Torah, containing guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, made judgments for Jews.  So too did the rabbis and scholars judge according to Allah’s Book [the Torah], with which they were entrusted and of which they were made keepers.  So do not fear the people; fear Me!  Nor trade my revelations for a fleeting gain.  And those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down [the Torah], it is they who are ˹truly˺ the disbelievers.

 

[45] We {WHO IS “WE?”] ordained for them in the Torah, ‘A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth -- and for wounds equal retaliation.’  But whoever waives it charitably, it will be atonement for them.  And those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down [the Torah], it is they who are ˹truly˺ the wrongdoers.

 

[46] Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We [Who is “WE?”] sent Jesus, Son of Mary, confirming the Torah [“CONFIRMING”] revealed before [Arabic, “ma bayna yadayhi”] Him [Jesus].  And We [WHO IS “WE?”] gave Him [Jesus] the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming [“CONFIRMING”] what was revealed in the Torah that had come before [Arabic, “ma bayna yadayhi”] Him, as a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.

 

[47] Let the people of the Gospel judge by what God has sent down therein [the Torah and the Gospels].  Whosoever judges not by that which God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] -- it is they who are iniquitous.

 

[48] And We [WHO IS “WE?”] have sent down unto thee [Mohammed] the Book [the Qur’an] in truth, confirming the Book [the Torah and the Gospels] that came before it [the Qur’an], and as a protector over it [the Qur’an is a “protector over” the Torah and Gospels; In Arabic the word for “protector” is, “muhaymin,” meaning “protector or guardian”].  So judge between them [both] in accordance with what God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels], and follow not their caprices away from the truth [“the truth” of the Torah and the Gospels] that has come unto thee [Mohammed].” For each among you We [Who is “WE?”] have appointed a law and a way.  And had God willed, he would have made you one community, but [he willed otherwise], that he might try you in that which he has given you [both the Torah and the Gospels and the Qur’an; but you are to judge via the Torah and the Gospels].  So vie with one another in good deeds [as spelled out in the Torah and the Gospels and the Qur’an].  Unto God shall be your return all together, and he will inform you of that wherein you differ [between the Torah and Gospels and the Qur’an].

 

[49] And judge between them [both] in accordance with what God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels], and follow not their [the Qur’an’s] caprices.  And beware of them [the Qur’an’s], lest they tempt thee away from some part of that which God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] unto thee.  And if they turn away [from the Torah and the Gospels and] from Allah’s judgment [of you not abiding by the instructions in the Torah and the Gospels], know that it is Allah’s will to repay them for some of their sins [based upon the instructions in the Torah and the Gospels], and that many people are indeed rebellious.”

 

SURA 5:65-68:

 

“[65] Had the People of the Book [Jews and Christians] believed and been reverent, We [WHO IS “We?”] would surely have absolved them of their evil deeds, and caused them to enter Gardens of bliss. [66] Had they [Christians and Jews] observed the Torah and the Gospel and that which was sent down unto them from their Lord [Notice the different “Lord”], they would surely have received nourishment from above them and from beneath their feet.  There is a moderate community among them [Jews and Christians]; but as for many of them, evil is that which they do! [NOT following the instructions given in the Torah and the Gospels] [67] O Messenger!  Convey that which has been sent down unto thee from thy Lord, and if thou dost not, thou wilt not have conveyed His message.  And God will protect thee from mankind.  Surely God guides not disbelieving people. [68] Say, ‘O People of the Book! [the Torah and the Gospel] You stand on naught till you observe the Torah and the Gospel [Here Allah affirms the Torah and the Gospels], and that which has been sent down unto you from your Lord.’ [Notice again the different “Lord”] Surely that which has been sent down unto thee [the Torah and the Gospel] from thy Lord will increase many of them in rebellion and disbelief.  So grieve not for disbelieving people [such as Muslims].”

 

SURA 5:109-110:

 

“[109] The day when God will gather the messengers and say, ‘What response did you receive?’ they will say, ‘We have no knowledge.  Truly it is Thou Who knowest best the things unseen.’ [110] Then God will say, ‘O Jesus Son of Mary!  Remember My Blessing upon Thee, and upon Thy mother, when I strengthened Thee with the Holy Spirit [WHO IS THIS?], that Thou mightiest speak to people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught Thee the Book, Wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel; and how Thou wouldst create out of clay the shape of a bird, by My [Allah’s] Leave, and Thou wouldst breathe into it, and it would become a bird [Jesus here has creative powers], by My Leave; and Thou wouldst heal the blind and the leper, by My Leave; and Thous wouldst bring forth the dead, by My Leave; and how I restrained the Children of Israel from Thee, when Tou didst being them lear proofs, and those who disbelieved among them said, ‘This is naught but manifest sorcery.’ [111] And how I inspired the disciples, ‘Believe in Me and My messenger [Jesus Son of Mary]!’  They declared, ‘We believe and bear witness that we fully submit ‘to Allah.’ ” 

 

SURA 7:156-157:

 

“[156] [Moses speaking] ‘And prescribe good for us in the life of this world, and in the Hereafter; truly we have truly we have turned unto Thee.  He said, ‘I cause My Punishment to smite whomsoever I will, though My Mercy encompasses all things.  I shall prescribe it for those who are reverent, and give alms, and those who believe in Our [WHO is “Our”] signs, [157] those who follow the Messenger [Muhammad], the unlettered Prophet, whom they find inscribed in the Torah and the Gospel that is with them [the Jews and Christians], who enjoins upon them what is right, and forbids them what is wrong, and makes good things lawful for them, and forbids them bad things, and relieves them of their burden and the shackles that were upon them.  Thus those who believe in him [Muhammad], honor him, help him, and follow the light [the Torah and the Gospels] that has been sent down with him; it is they [Jews and Christians] who shall prosper.’ ”

 

NOTE:  Moses would have no clue what the “Gospels” are, nor who Muhammad is.  By contrast, the Jews and Christians do have the “Accurate,” “Authentic,” “Authoritative,” “Inspired,” “Perfectly Preserved,” and “Viability” Hebrew and Christians Scriptures, during the time of Muhammad, according to Allah.

 

SURA 9:111:

 

“[111] Truly God [Allah] has purchased from the believers their souls and their wealth in exchange for [Paradise] the Garden being theirs.  They fight in the way of God [Allah], slaying and being slain.  This is a promise binding upon Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur’an [WHICH of these is corrupt now?].  And who [Allah] is truer to his pact than God [Allah]?  So rejoice in the bargain you have made.  That indeed is the great triumph.”

 

SURA 48:29:

 

“[29] Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.  Those who are with him are harsh against the disbelievers, merciful to one another.  You see them bowing, prostrating, seeking bounty from God and contentment; their mark upon their faces is from the effect of prostration.  That is their likeness in the Torah.  And their likeness in the Gospel is a sapling that puts forth its shoot and strengthens it, such that it grows stout and rises firmly upon its stalk, impressing the sowers, that through them he may enrage the disbelievers.  God has promised forgiveness and a great reward to those among them who believe and perform righteous deeds.”

 

SURA 57:27:

 

“[27] Then We [WHO IS “We?”] sent Our [WHO IS “Our?”] messengers to follow in their footsteps, and We [WHO IS “We?”] sent Jesus Son of Mary, and We [WHO IS “We?”] gave Him [Jesus] the Gospel and placed kindness and mercy in the hearts of those [Christians and Jews] who follow Him [Jesus].  And monasticism they invented -- We [WHO IS “We?”] did not ordain it for them -- only to seek God’s Contentment.  Yet they [Jews and Christians] did not observe It [the Gospel] with proper observance.  So We [WHO IS “We?”] gave those of them who believed their reward, yet many of them are iniquitous.”

 

CONCLUSION:  It doesn’t make much sense to say that the Torah and the Gospels have been corrupted when every verse in the Qur’an confirms the validity of Them.  Also notice that the Qur’an always criticizes Christians and Jews for not following the Torah and the Gospel that Allah gave to them.
