A) INTRODUCTION
It is a known FACT that most Muslims have NEVER even read the Qur’an. And if you don’t believe that, ask your Muslim friends if they have read it all the way through. And just in case they say they have, it is also a known FACT that most Muslims have NEVER really “studied” the Qur’an. That statement is also true of Christians, who have not “studied” their Bible. Both parties rely upon their teachers to tell them what is truth. For my Muslim and Christian friends, see also my Bible Study: “QUR’AN AND WHAT IT REALLY TEACHES.;” and “MUSLIM DELEMA.”
By contrast, when studying with a Muslim, any subject you bring up that exposes their teachings is most likely going to receive a response such as, “You can’t read Arabic, therefore, you don’t know what you are talking about.” Therefore, (I do) you should use Arabic sources when talking to your unfriendly Muslims.
Another argument used by your Muslim unfriendly’s is, “You don’t have the correct Arabic version of the Koran.” The “Medinan Koran” comprises 36% of “The Natural Division of the Koran.” Whereas, the “Meccan Koran” consists of 64%. Therefore, when your Muslim friend says that “his Qur’an does not state the verse that way,” let him do his best to wiggle out of what you are presenting to him.
Note: Correct spelling is “Qur’an;” while many Westerners use “Koran” as the spelling.
C-O-N-S-I-D-E-R: Sura 3:55 -- “Behold! Allah said: O Jesus! I will take Thee and raise Thee to Myself and clear Thee of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow You the superior to those who reject faith [blaspheme] to the day of resurrection. . .” See also see Sura 7:119 were Jesus dies for your sins!!!
Most Muslims will tell you that the Bible has been corrupted. But they cannot tell you where. So, ask them to show you where the Bible has been corrupted. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the “Qur’an” itself tells you that the Bible is the true Word of God and cannot be corrupted in:
Qur’an 6:115: “The Word of your Lord is perfect in truthfulness and justice; no one can change His Words. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.” Note: The “He” meaning the True God, not Allah. See also Q:5:47-48.
Qur’an 10:94-95: “(94) So if you are in doubt [O Muhammad], about that which We [Who is “We?”] have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you [That would be Christians who lived before him]. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. (95) And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] become one of the losers.”
See Also “Qur’an 6:114-115” & “18:27.” And all the verses below that show that Allah wrote the “Torah,” the First Five Books of the Bible, and the Christian Book -- “The Holy Bible.”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Why are you corrupting your own book and therefore calling Allah a liar, when Allah himself and the Qur’an itself says different to your own belief system? And: Why not read the Book [The Bible] that the “Qur’an” advocates?
And this one is incredibly stupid. According to the “Islamic Dictionary,” the definition of “allah,” note, not even capitalized, is: “God, the Unique One, the Creator; already to the pre-Islamic Arabs, -- [NOW CHECK THIS OUT] was one of the Meccan deities, possibly [ARE YOU KIDDING ME] the supreme deity. I 406a.” This is absolute truth telling (a rarity) coming from their very own dictionary; which goes directly against “The Standard Islamic Narrative,” that there is ONLY ONE God in Islam.
Common Sense tells anyone that to kill someone for what they believe to be truth is “Pure Evil.” If I believe some bunnies can talk, you would call me an idiot. But if I tell you the 100% correct, no challenge has succeeded against It, The Bible is the Truth, Now you want to Kill me! Why do you care?
B) TO MY QUESTIONS
According to Qur’an 23:14 & Al-Mu’minun 23:14 & As-Saffat 37:125, Allah is “We” & “the Best of creators.”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: How many Gods are there?”
--------------------------------------------------------
From Qur’an 2:58: “And [remember] when We said, ‘Enter this town and eat bountifully. . .’ and say: ‘Forgive us,’ and We shall forgive you your sins. . .”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Who is “We?”
--------------------------------------------------------
From Qur’an 2:106: “If We ever abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We replace it with a better or similar one. Do you not know that Allah is Most Capable of everything?”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: And this may be the most important of all; If Allah can continually change his mind, then you don’t even know how to, or what is really required in order to go to paradise. Why would you serve such a changeable God? The Lord Jesus Christ is unchangeable and reliable. The “same yesterday, today, and forever,” Ephesians 4:5.
M-Y N-E-X-T Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since any change of mind would give doubt to the Divine origin of the Qur’an, and ultimately of Allah himself, why not accept the true God found in the Bible: “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips.” Psalm 89:34.
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N A-L-S-O I-S: Who is “We?”
--------------------------------------------------------
F-A-C-T: According to Sura, Chapter 4, Jesus was not crucified. The extra Biblical evidence for this event in history is so overwhelming as to refute this allegation. Please consider the facts with common sense.
Please excuse me for not being able to write it, but if I could speak it, it would sound like this: “yah-SOO-ah yoh HEH-back,” being interpreted, “Jesus Loves You.”
--------------------------------------------------------
The earliest “Qur’anic” texts (691 A.D.) are on the “Dome of the Rock.”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Why do NONE of those texts appear in the perfectly preserved and unadulterated Qur’anthat we have today? Especially if the Qur’an has never been changed?
--------------------------------------------------------
Muslims believe that Allah has taken upon himself the duty of preserving the Qur’an forever in its entirety. Example: “We have without doubt sent down the Message, and we will assuredly guard it [from corruption].” Sura 15:9. The writer of the preface to King Fahd’s Koran also states, “The Arabic text we have today is identical to the text as it was revealed to the prophet. Not even a single letter has yielded to corruption during the passage of the centuries. . .”
F-A-C-T: The word “Message,” used in the above Sura, applies also to the Torah, Psalms, and the “Enjil” (the New Testament), of which portions or endorsements appear in the Qur’an.
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: If Allah has taken upon himself the duty of preserving the message, why do Muslims include Biblical portions yet call the Bible corrupt? And why do Muslims persecute people (Christians) who believe and uphold some of the same testimonies that they do?
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N A-L-S-O I-S: Why did Muhammad ask the people of the Book [The Bible], the Christians and the Jews, to observe the Torah and the “Injil” [Old and New Testaments], asking them to view them as a reference and as valid Books if, as most Muslims are taught today, that that “Book” has been corrupted?
--------------------------------------------------------
Muslims believe that the “Qur’an” (meaning, “recitation”), has been revealed to re-establish the sincere worship of Allah alone; without association of any partners with him. Example: “And they have been commanded no more than this to worship Allah, offering him sincere devotion, being true in faith, to establish regular prayer and to give Zakat, and that is the religion right and straight.” Sura 98:5.
According to the Qur’an, Jesus Christ is the Word of God (Sura 3:45); the Spirit of God (Sura 4:171); and the Messenger of God (Sura 4:171).
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since the first two are only attributes of God, then isn’t it clear that Jesus, the Christ, is the One and Only God?
M-Y N-E-X-T Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: If there is only One God (as Muslims and Christians believe), then why does the Qur’an say, “We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, and no weariness touched us?” Sura 50:37. “None of our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but we. . .” Sura 2:106. WHO IS “us,” “our,” and “we?”
M-Y N-E-X-T Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: How is it that Muslims do not consider who this “We” is, plurality of the Godhead, whenever it comes up in their reading of the Qur’an? It, the “We,” appears so often it cannot possibly be missed. Oh Wait! That’s right. Most Muslims do not read the Qur’an.
--------------------------------------------------------
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Did you know that the term “Muhammad Jesus” was used up until 750 A.D., according to Karl-Heinz Ohlig, in his book, “Early Islam;” which well documents this from many sources?
F-A-C-T: Credit to Professor Robert Kerr. The name “Mhmd,” the term used for “Muhammad” in the “Qur’an,” also has other versions attached to it, such as, “Mehmet;” “Machometus;” “Mahomet;” which are all names associated to “Jesus,” up until after 750 A.D.
The term “Mhmd,” up until after 750 A.D., where it suddenly began to refer to a 7th century false prophet, was a term that originally functioned both as a reference to “God” and to “Jesus.” It was applied to “God” on the 6th century in Jewish inscriptions. It was applied to Jesus in the 7th century on coins of the day; which we have in museums (see The British Museum). And, it was used as a Messianic epithet. Meaning, it was definitely applying to Jesus.
--------------------------------------------------------
In an interesting FACT, according to Qur’an 5:90, Muslims are not supposed to be worshipping “stones.”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Why is the Kabbah’s “Black Stone” kissed and worshipped?
--------------------------------------------------------
C) THE QUR’AN CONFIRMS THE TORAH AND THE BIBLE
According to Sura 2:23: “And if you are in doubt about what We {WHO IS “WE?”] have revealed [the Torah and the Gospels] to Our servant [Muhammed], then produce a Surah like it [the Torah and the Gospels] and call your helpers other than Allah, if what you say is true.”
And according to Sura 2:53: “And ˹remember˺ when We [WHO IS “WE?”] gave Moses the Scripture -- the decisive authority -- that perhaps you would be ˹rightly˺ guided [by the Torah].”
And according to Sura 2:40-41: “(40) O Children of Israel! Remember my Blessing which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill my covenant, and I shall fulfill your covenant, and be in awe of me. (41) And believe in that which I have sent down, confirming that which you have with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in It. And sell not my signs for a paltry price, and reverence me.”
And according to Sura 2:89: “And when there came to them [the Jews and Christians] a Book from God, confirming that which they had with them -- and aforetime they used to ask for victory over those who disbelieve -- so when there come to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in It. So may the curse of God be upon the disbelievers.”
And according to Sura 2:91: “And when it is said unto them [Jews and Christians], ‘Believe in what God has sent down,’ they say, ‘We believe in what was sent down to us,’ and they disbelieve in what is beyond it, although it is the truth, confirming what is with them. Say, ‘Then why did you slay the prophets of God aforetime, if you were believers?’ ”
And according to Sura 2:97: “Whosoever is an enemy of Gabriel: he it is who sent It [the Torah and the Gospels] down upon thy heart by God’s Leave, confirming that which was there before, and as a guidance and glad tiding for the believers.”
And according to Sura 2:101: “And when there came to them a messenger [Muhammed] from God, confirming that which is with them ([the Torah and the Gospels], a group of those who have been given the Book cast the Book of God behind their backs, as if they know not.”
And according to Sura 3:2-4: “(2) God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal. (3) He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah [First Five Books Of Moses In The Christian Bible] and the Gospel [Entire New Testament Of The Christian Bible]. (4) Aforetime Prior To The Quran], as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Criterion. Those who have rejected God’s signs will have a severe punishment. God is Mighty, Able to take revenge.”
C-O-M-M-E-N-T-A-R-Y: That God affirms the validity of the “Torah and the Gospel” is seen by the statement, “He sent down,” twice. Why then do Muslims conclude that God corrupted His Own Books?
It also states that God “confirming what was before it.” The Arabic phrase for “was before it” is [sorry; I do not have an Arabic keyboard], “ma bayna yadayhi.” This literally means, “between His hands,” or “in His presence.” Thus, the meaning is that the Qur’an is verifying Books that came before it. And since these verses are teaching us that “the Gospel aforetime, as a guidance to mankind,” and never corrupted even to the time of the writing of the Qur’an, if any Book is corrupted, that would mean both the Qur’an and the Gospels are corrupted, or neither is at that point.
The word “sines,” refers to “revelations.” Thus, God is affirming the inspiration and preservation and authority of the Gospels.
And since the Qur’an gives a warning, “those who disbelieve,” in “the Torah and the Gospels,” “shall have a severe punishment,” you would think Muslims would do well to better investigate their own religion instead of relying upon their false teachers.
And according to Sura 3:47-48: “[47] She [Mary, the mother of Jesus] said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a child while no human being has touched me?’ He said, ‘Thus does God create whatsoever He will.’ When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is. [48] And He will teach him the Book, Wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel.
And according to Sura 3:50: “[Jesus speaking] And [I come] confirming that which was before me, the Torah, and to make lawful unto you part of that which was forbidden unto you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. So reverence God and obey Me.”
And according to Sura 3:64-65: “[64] Say, ‘O People of the Book! Come to a word common between us and you, that we shall worship none but God, shall not associate aught with Him, and shall not take one another as lords apart from God.’ And if they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we are submitters.’ [65] O People of the Book! Why do you dispute concerning Abraham, as neither the Torah nor the Gospel was sent down until after him? Do you not understand?”
And according to Sura 3:81: “And [remember] when God made the covenant of the prophets: ‘By that which I have given you of a Book and Wisdom [the Torah and the Gospels], should a messenger then come to you confirming that which is with you [the Torah and the Gospels], you shall surely believe in him and you shall help him,’ He said, ‘Do you agree and take on my burden on these conditions?’ They said, ‘We agree.’ He said, ‘Bear witness, for I am with you among those who bear witness.”
Note: You are supposed to believe in Muhammed, who “confirmed” what was with the Jews and Christians.”
And according to Sura 3:84: “Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘We believe in Allah and what has been revealed [the Torah] to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord -- we make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we ˹fully˺ submit.”
And according to Sura 4:47: “O you unto whom the Book has been given! [Jews and Christians] Believe in what We [WHO IS “WE?”] have sent down, confirming that which is with you, before We [WHO IS “WE?”] blot out faces and turn them backwards, or curse them as We [WHO IS “WE?”] cursed those [JEWS who broke] the Sabbath. And the Command of God shall be fulfilled.”
And according to Sura 4:136: “O believers! Have faith in Allah, His Messenger [MUHAMMED], the Book [the Qur’an] He has revealed to His Messenger, and the Scriptures [the Gospels] He revealed before [the Qur’an]. Indeed, whoever denies Allah, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day has clearly gone far astray.”
According to Sura 4:163: “Indeed, We [WHO IS “WE?”] have sent revelation to you ˹O Prophet˺ as We [WHOIS “WE?”] sent revelation to Noah and the prophets [the Bible] after him. We [WHO IS “WE?”] also sent revelation to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants, ˹as well as˺ Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon [the Old Testament Scriptures]. And to David We gave the Psalms.”
Continuing On:
Qur’an 5:43-49: “[43] But why do they [the Jews] come to you [Mohammed] for judgment when they ˹already˺ have the Torah containing Allah’s judgment, then they turn away after all? They are not ˹true˺ believers [if they ignore the instructions as given in the “Torah”].
[44] Indeed, We [WHO IS “WE?”] revealed the Torah, containing guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, made judgments for Jews. So too did the rabbis and scholars judge according to Allah’s Book [the Torah], with which they were entrusted and of which they were made keepers. So do not fear the people; fear Me! Nor trade my revelations for a fleeting gain. And those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down [the Torah], it is they who are ˹truly˺ the disbelievers.
[45] We {WHO IS “WE?”] ordained for them in the Torah, ‘A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth -- and for wounds equal retaliation.’ But whoever waives it charitably, it will be atonement for them. And those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down [the Torah], it is they who are ˹truly˺ the wrongdoers.
[46] Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We [Who is “WE?”] sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah [“CONFIRMING”] revealed before Him [Jesus]. And We [WHO IS “WE?”] gave Him [Jesus] the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming [“CONFIRMING”] what was revealed in the Torah -- a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.
[47] Let the people of the Gospel [Christians] judge by what God has sent down [the Gospels] therein. Whosoever judges not by that which God has sent down [the Gospel] -- it is they who are iniquitous.”
[48] And We [WHO IS “WE?”] have sent down unto thee [Mohammed] the Book [the Qur’an] in truth, confirming the Book [the Torah and the Gospels] that came before it [the Qur’an], and as a protector over it [the Qur’an is a “protector over” the Torah and Gospels; In Arabic the word for “protector” is, “muhaymin,” meaning “protector or guardian”]. So judge between them [the Torah and the Gospels] in accordance with what God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels], and follow not their [the Torah and the Gospels] caprices away from the truth [“the truth” of the Torah and the Gospels] that has come unto thee [Mohammed].” For each among you We [Who is “WE?”] have appointed a law and a way. And had God willed, he would have made you one community, but [he willed otherwise], that he might try you in that which he has given you [both the Torah and the Gospels and the Qur’an; but you are to judge via the Torah and the Gospels]. So vie with one another in good deeds [as spelled out in the Torah and the Gospels and the Qur’an]. Unto God shall be your return all together, and he will inform you of that wherein you differ [between the Torah and Gospels and the Qur’an; again, judging first by the Torah and the Gospels].
[49] And judge between them [both] in accordance with what God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels], and follow not their [the Qur’an’s] caprices. And beware of them [the Qur’an’s], lest they tempt thee away from some part of that which God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] unto thee. And if they turn away [from the Torah and the Gospels and] from Allah’s judgment [of you not abiding by the instructions in the Torah and the Gospels], know that it is Allah’s will to repay them for some of their sins [based upon the instructions in the Torah and the Gospels], and that many people are indeed rebellious.”
Note: The phrase “come before him” in Arabic is once again, “ma bayna yadayhi,” meaning again, “between His hands,” or “in His presence.” Thus, Jesus confirmed the “Torah” which was present in His time. And since we have copies of the “Torah” prior to the time of Jesus, we can know what the Qur’an is confirming here.
Qur’an 5:65-68: “[65] Had the People of the Book [Jews and Christians believed and been reverent, We would surely have absolved them of their evil deeds, and caused them to enter Gardens of bliss.
[66] Had they observed the Torah and the Gospel and that which was sent down unto them from their Lord, they would surely have received nourishment from above them and from beneath their feet. There is a moderate community among them; but as for many of them, evil is that which they do!
[67] O Messenger [Muhammed]! Convey that which has been sent down [the Qur’an] unto thee from thy Lord, and if thou dost not, thou wilt not have conveyed His message. And God will protect thee from mankind. Surely God guides not disbelieving people.
[68] Say, ‘O People of the Book [Jews and Christians]! You stand on naught till you observe the Torah and the Gospel, and that which has been sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] unto you from your Lord.’ Surely that which has been sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] unto thee from the Lord will increase many of them in rebellion and disbelief. So grieve not for disbelieving people.”
Qur’an 6:92: “And this is a blessed Book that We {WHO IS “WE?”] have sent down, confirming that [The Torah and the Gospels] which came before it [the Qur’an], that thou [Muhammed] mayest warn the Mother of Cities and those around her. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are mindful of their prayers.”
Qur’an 7:157: “those who follow the Messenger [Moses], the unlettered Prophet, whom they find inscribed in the Torah and the Gospel that is with the, who enjoins upon them what is right, and forbids them what is wrong, and makes good things lawful for them, and forbids them bad things, and relieves them of their burden and the shackles that were upon them. Thus those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the light that has been sent down with him; it is they who shall prosper.”
Note: For those who teach that the “Messenger” referred to here is Muhammad, they are lying to you. For Muhammad was not born yet, if he was born at all, until over 2,000 years later.
Qur’an 9:111: “Truly God has purchased from the believers their souls and their wealth in exchange for the Garden being theirs. They fight in the way of God, slaying and being slain. [It is} a promise binding upon Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. And who is truer to His pact than God?”
C-O-M-M-E-N-T-A-R-Y: That the Gospel is still uncorrupted in the timing of the Qur’an is quite clear here. Please have your lying “Standard Islamic Narrative” Shakes and Emmons explain this one away.
Qur’an 10:37: “This Quran could not have been fabricated [by anyone] apart from God; rather, it is a confirmation of that which came before [The Torah and the Gospels] it [the Qur’an], and an elaboration of the Book [the Torah] in which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.”
Qur’an 10:94: “So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We [WHO IS WE?] have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture [Jews and Christians; they have the truth] before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.” Note: When Muhammad was in doubt, he must go to what was revealed to Jews and Christians to verify what he was receiving from Allah. Any deviation from the Torah and Christians Book would be in violation of that.
Qur’an 12:111: “Certainly in their stories is a lesson for those possessed of intellect. It [the Qur’an] is not a fabricated account; rather it [the Qur’an] is a confirmation of that which came before [the Torah and the Gospels] it [[the Qur’an], and an elaboration of all things, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.”
Qur’an 29:46: “Do not argue with the People of the Book [the Christians] unless gracefully, except with those of them who act wrongfully. And say, We believe in what has been revealed [the Gospels] to us and what was revealed [the Gospels] to you. Our God and your God is ˹only˺ One. And to Him we ˹fully˺ submit.”
Qur’an 35:31: “And that which We [AGAIN AND AGAIN, WHO IS “WE?”] have revealed unto thee from the Book [the Qur’an] is the truth, confirming what came before [the Torah and the Gospels] it [the Qur’an]. Verily God is of His servants Aware, Seeing.”
Qur’an 46:12: “Yet before it [the Qur’an] there was the Book of Moses [the Torah], a guide and a mercy. This is a Book [the Qur’an] that confirms in an Arabic tongue to warn wrongdoers, and a glad tiding for the virtuous.”
Qur’an 46:30: “They said, ‘O our people! Truly we have heard a Book [the Qur’an] sent down after Moses, confirming that which came before [the Torah] it [the Qur’an], guiding to the truth and to a straight road.”
Qur’an 48:29: “Muhammad is the Messenger of God. Those who are with him are harsh against the disbelievers, merciful to one another. You see them bowing, prostrating, seeking bounty from God and contentment; their mark upon their faces is from the effect of prostration. That is their likeness in the Torah. And their likeness in the Gospel is a sapling that puts forth its shoot and strengthens it, such that it grows stout and rises firmly upon its stalk, impressing the sowers, that through them He may enrage the disbelievers. God has promised forgiveness and a great reward to those among them who believe and perform righteous deeds.”
C-O-M-M-E-N-T-A-R-Y: Notice that here the Qur’an continues to appeal to “the Torah” and “the Gospel” for conformation of Their teachings. Plus, there is NO indication that either “the Torah” or “the Gospel” have been corrupted which is the lying “Standard Islamic Narrative.”
Qur’an 57:27: “Then We sent Our messengers to follow in their footsteps, an We sent Jesus son of Mary, and We gave him the Gospel and placed kindness and mercy in the hearts of those who follow him. And monasticism they invented -- We did not ordain it for them -- only to seek God’s Contentment. Yet they did not observe it with proper observance. So We gave those of them who believed their reward, yet many of them are iniquitous.”
Qur’an 61:6: “And [remember] when Jesus Son of Mary said, ‘O Children of Israel! Truly I Am the Messenger of God unto you, confirming that which came before Me in the Torah and bearing glad tidings of a Messenger to come after Me whose name is Ahmad.’ And when he came unto the with clear proofs [the Torah], they said, ‘This is manifest sorcery.’ ”
After all that:
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since the Qur’an teaches that the Bible is true and reliable, Written by God Himself, shouldn’t Muslims be studying and learning from that Book? In Fact, even the Qur’an is telling Muslims to verify what is written in the Qur'an against what is written in the Bible, WITH THE BIBLE AS THE AUTHORITY; the final Word of God.
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N A-L-S-O I-S: Since the Qur’an teaches that the Bible is true, even during the supposed time of Muhammed, meaning the Jews and Christians have the same Scriptures that were available in the 7th century, but you Muslims teach that Judaism and Christianity is false, and the Bible has been corrupted and changed. Then isn’t it also true that the Qur’an is false, since it teaches that the Bible is the True Word of God? Who is right? Your false teachers who say the Torah and Gospels have been corrupted. Or Allah and his words? And if neither is true, then no one has anything that is true and can be trusted, right?
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N T-H-E-N I-S: Since the Bible is and has been 100% correct upon history, science, topography, dates, and everything else, why not trust it for your salvation?
Notice that God ALWAYS criticizes Christians for NOT OBEYING what was/is revealed to them in “the Gospels.” But NEVER, EVER, FOREVER, does he say therefore, that “the Gospels” have been corrupted. That is only a lying “Standard Islamic Narrative” propagated from your lying Shakes and Emmons. For Heaven’s sake, put your own thinking cap on and GET A CLUE!
D) HISTORICAL INTERESTING QUESTIONS FOR MUSLIMS
Muhammad himself stated in the 19th Sur, verse 66: “When I am dead and buried in the ground, and go back to dust, is that all? What will happen to me?”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since Muhammad did not know if he was going to Heaven (following his own teachings), what makes you think by following his teachings that you will go to Heaven?
Why are there no Muslim sources for the Qur’an or the existence of Muhammad until 200 years after Muhammad’s death?
Why is there no mention in Muslim history of Mecca or Muhammad until 240 years after the death of Muhammad?
Why are there 65 references in the Qur’an about Mecca that don’t fit either historically or geographically, but they do fit for Petra (600 miles to the north; such as olive trees and other vegetation, peoples such as the Midianites [that don’t exist in Mecca])? NOTE: Petra was destroyed by an earthquake in 713 A.D., thus Mecca was not established as the holy place, until Al Walid (see below) lived there.
Why is Mecca not mentioned in any historical writings until 741 A.D., nor included on any maps of the area until 900 A.D.
If Mecca was so important, why was it not on any of the historical trade routes until 822 A.D.?
Speaking of 822 A.D., why did all of the Qiblas face Petra for the first 100 years after the death of Muhammad, then for the next 100 years they were arguing whether or not to rebuilt them to face Mecca (Note: They all do now)?
Why is it that the Qur’an and Muhammad suddenly turn up when Abd Al Malick introduces them in 691 A.D.?
Why is it that the Caliphal Protocols change overnight in 691 A.D. and coins and images of Arabic Script show up in 692 A.D.?
Why is it that the earliest Qur’anic manuscripts begin to appear during Abd Al Malick’s sons reign (Al Walid) from 690-750 A.D.?
Why is it that those manuscripts are not complete (that can be understandable due to time preservation), but more importantly, do not parallel today’s perfectly preserved and unaltered Qur’an of today? Note: The Qur’an that Muslims have today is based upon the 1924 edition of it.
Why was the perfectly preserved Qur’an continued to be changed and corrected by later Caliphs up until the 9th century A.D.?
Why does most of the Qur’an (manuscripts) only appear after the 8th and 9th centuries?
I could go on and on about the manuscripts and other things; but see if you can answer what I have brought up already.
E) ERRORS IN THE QUR’AN
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Since the Christian world bases Its belief system upon the Bible being 100% correct, then shouldn’t the Muslim world also believe that the Qur’an is 100% correct in their religion?
To see the NUMEROUS errors in the Qur’an, please go to my Bible Study: “QUR’AN, WHAT IT REALLY TEACHES.”
F) MUHAMMAD DID NOT PERFORM MIRACLES
According to Qur’an 13:27: “Those who have rejected (the message of Muhammad) say: ‘Why has no sign been sent down upon him from his Lord?’ Tell them: ‘Allah lets go astray those whom He wills, and guides to Himself those who turn to Him.’ ”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Here was an opportunity to say, “I Have.” Why did he not say something like that?
According to Qur’an 11:12: “So [Prophet] are you going to abandon some part of what is revealed to you, and let your heart be oppressed by it, because they say, ‘Why is no treasure sent down to him? Why has no angel come with him?’ You are only there to warn; it is God who is in charge of everything.”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: The Qur’an only teaches that Muhammad was only a “warner.” Therefore, why do you teach that Muhammad performed miracles? See also Qur’an 17:59.
According to Qur’an 28:48: “But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, ‘Why was he not given like that which was given to Moses?’ Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Moses before? They said, ‘[They are but] two works of magic supporting each other, and indeed we are, in both, disbelievers.’ ”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Does it not state clearly that Muhammad was not given miracles; regardless of the reason why not?
According to Qur’an 29:50: “But they say, ‘Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘The signs are only with Allah , and I am only a clear warner.’ ”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Does it not state clearly that Muhammad was not given miracles; regardless of the reason why not? And, according to verse 51 following, the Qur’an was all that was needed, not any miracles.
G) FAILED PROPHECIES OF MUHAMMED
According to “Abu Dawud” 14:2529: “He [Muhammad] then placed his hand on my head and said: Ibn Hawalah, when you see the caliphate has settled in the holy land [Jerusalem]. . . on that day the Last Hour will be nearer to mankind than this hand of mine is to your head.”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Please don’t claim that this is to take place in the future [I would accept a dual prophecy however], for it is clear the text speaks of an event that has already taken place -- Jerusalem concurred. Yet why has the end not come [then; forget the future which this prophecy cannot claim; for even a dual prophecy begs of this statement an ending then and an ending future; you cannot have both].
In “Sahih Bukhari 1:10:539 & 575;” and “Sahih Muslim 31:6160; and Sahih al-Bukhari 601, Book 9, Hadith 77;” Muhammed states: “Do you realize the importance of this night? Nobody present on the surface of the earth tonight would be living after the completion of one hundred years from this night.”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Does it not state clearly that Muhammad meant everyone?
In “Sahih Muslim 41:7050-7053, we have this gem: “When would the Last Hour come? Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) kept quiet for a while. Then he looked at a young boy in his presence and said: If this boy lives, he would not grow very old till the Last Hour would come to you.”
A more literal translation from the Arabic comes to us from “Sahih Muslim” 54:172: “A person asked Allah’s Apostle: ‘When would the Last Hour come?’ Thereupon Allah’s Messenger kept quiet for a while. Then looked at a young boy in his and he said: ‘If this boy lives he would not grow very old till the Last Hour would be established.’ ”
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Does it not state clearly that Muhammad meant everyone? And don’t be so desperate as to claim the “boy” died and therefore the prophecy did not come true.
From Mustaurid al-Qurashi: “I heard Allah’s Messenger as saying: The Last Hour would come (when) the Romans would form a majority amongst people.” Sahih Muslim 2898 a, Book 54; Hadith 45, Book 41; Hadith 6925.
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: Do you think the Roman kingdom will rise again and take over the entire world and then the end will come? That goes against your other teachings of the last days.
H) TO THE QUR’ANIC MANUSCRIPTS
The most important Manuscript in support of the Qur’an is the “Hafs” Manuscript. Muslims claim 6 total Manuscripts to support the validity of the Qur’an today; of which 93% of them agree to be the original sent down from Heaven. By comparison, Christians have the four “Metropolitan Codexis.” They have about 8,500 Greek Manuscripts; about 10,000 Latin Vulgates; and about 9,000 in various other languages. Plus, the Christian Manuscripts originated (granted, they are copies of copies) within 50 years of Christ’s death. Whereas, the Muslim Manuscripts date over 150 years after the supposed death of Muhammed.
To the Qur’anic Manuscripts:
1) Topkapi -- Which is today housed in Turkey. It boasts 99% of the Qur’an; but contains 2,700 variants from the “Hafs” text that is the approved Qur’an today. It dates to around 750 A.D.
2) Samarkand -- Which is today housed in Uzbekistan. It is dated between 720 to 790 A.D. What is interesting and known to be so is that portions of it is barrowed from the Christian texts. Plus, it only covers up to Sura 43 (the Qur’anhas 114 Sura’s). And, of the 43 Sura’s, only one is complete, while 16 of them don’t even exist in today’s Qur’an. By contrast, the most damaging truth about this Manuscript is that it is written by many different authors, with many Arabic grammatical mistakes. In fact, most Muslim scholars now agree that this Manuscript is an embarrassment and none would use it today to support any theories about the Qur’an.
3) Ma’il -- Which is today house in the British Museum in London, England. It also only covers only up to Sura 43. However, it is claimed to use a much earlier Script from central Arabia. But in actuality it is a Nabothian Aramaic Script from Jordan. It also only includes about half of the Qur’an, and has all kinds of variants from the Qur’an of today.
4) Petropolitanus -- Which is today housed in Paris, France. It contains only 19% of the Qur’an, and it has 93 variants.
5) Al Husseini -- Which is today housed in Cairo, Egypt. Most Muslims love this Manuscript because it is the most beautiful of the 6. It is called a “Monumental Text,” meaning it is a later text of all of them. It originally came from Iraq. Upon examination we find many coverings. In other words, writings over the original writings. On one page alone it has 8 different coverings. With these alterations the Manuscript now comes closer to the “Hafi” Manuscript. These changes would have taken place during the rule of the Ottoman period, 1300 to 1800 A.D. Plus, originally the Ottoman’s had control over all of these Manuscripts. They were housed in Istanbul, Turkey, but later sent out as presents around the world. This Manuscript is thought to originally come from Iran.
6) Sana’a -- Which is today housed in Yemen. It was originally written as a letter. However, it has clear evidence that the first layer of writing had been washed off and a second layer was written over that. Under investigation it can be seen that even the first layer had many variations from today’s Qur’an, The variations still seen in the upper layer are still argued today by Muslim apologists that that layer, even with its variations, lines up better with the Qur’an of today. It contains 70 pages, of which there are 63 differences from the lower text to the upper text. Plus, where the changes are made it completely changes the meaning of the verse. The lower layer has been dated to around the late 7th century, while the upper layer dates to around 705 A.D. Plus, on closer examination of opening the Manuscript to Chapter 19, it is on the righthand side, while Chapter 22 is on the lefthand side (remembering that Arabic is read from right to left). In other words, what happened to Chapters 20 & 21? Also, the writing of the righthand side is from an earlier Script than the Script on the lefthand side (different author). It is estimated that there is about 60 years between the two Scripts.
SUMMERY:
None of the Manuscripts are from the 7th century.
None of the Manuscripts are complete.
None of the Manuscripts agree with each other.
None of them completely agree with the current 1924 “Hafs” text of today’s Qur’an.
None of them have less than 100’s to 1000’s of subsequent Manuscript Variants.
M-Y Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N I-S: If none of these contain the original Qur’an, where is the original Qur’an?
