THE QUR'AN AND IT's REVELATION
UPON THE TORAH AND THE GOSPELS

A) INTRODUCTION.

B) EVERY VERSE DISCUSSING THE GOSPELS.

C) EVERY VERSE DISCUSSING MUHAMMAD.

A) INTRODUCTION

The “Standard Islamic Narrative” is that “The Gospels Have Been Corrupted.”  NOTHING could be further from the truth.  Here are ALL the Qur’anic verses that mention “the Gospel.”  If you find in ANY of them stating that “the Gospel” has been corrupted, then teach me to become a Qur’an believing Muslim; of whom MOST Muslims have NEVER read all of it.

In reality, your god confirms the Authority, Reliability, and Trustworthiness of “the Gospel.”  Either Allah is stupid or Muslims cannot read plain English or Arabic (Most Muslims cannot read Arabic).  If I cannot Trust your book, the “Qur’an,” when it talks about “the Torah and the Gospel,” then why would I Trust your book at all?

The more important question is, “When your book tells you one thing, and your lying Shakes and Emmons tell you another thing, whom should you believe?”  Why do you call yourselves Muslims -- people who summit to God -- when you really submit to your lying Shakes and Emmons?  And why do you want me to “submit” to the most lying Muslim leaders that the world has ever seen?

B) EVERY VERSE DISCUSSING THE GOSPELS

According to Sura 2:23:  “And if you are in doubt about what We {WHO IS “WE?”] have revealed [the Torah and the Gospels] to Our servant [Muhammed], then produce a Surah like it [the Torah and the Gospels] and call your helpers other than Allah, if what you say is true.”

And according to Sura 2:53:  “And ˹remember˺ when We [WHO IS “WE?”] gave Moses the Scripture -- the decisive authority‎ -- ‎that perhaps you would be ˹rightly˺ guided [by the Torah].”

And according to Sura 2:40-41:  “(40) O Children of Israel!  Remember my Blessing which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill my covenant, and I shall fulfill your covenant, and be in awe of me. (41) And believe in that which I have sent down, confirming that which you have with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in It.  And sell not my signs for a paltry price, and reverence me.”

And according to Sura 2:89:  “And when there came to them [the Jews and Christians] a Book from God, confirming that which they had with them -- and aforetime they used to ask for victory over those who disbelieve -- so when there come to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in It.  So may the curse of God be upon the disbelievers.”

And according to  Sura 2:91:  “And when it is said unto them [Jews and Christians], ‘Believe in what God has sent down,’ they say, ‘We believe in what was sent down to us,’ and they disbelieve in what is beyond it, although it is the truth, confirming what is with them.  Say, ‘Then why did you slay the prophets of God aforetime, if you were believers?’ ”

And according to Sura 2:97:  “Whosoever is an enemy of Gabriel:  he it is who sent It [the Torah and the Gospels] down upon thy heart by God’s Leave, confirming that which was there before, and as a guidance and glad tiding for the believers.”

And according to Sura 2:101:  “And when there came to them a messenger [Muhammed] from God, confirming that which is with them ([the Torah and the Gospels], a group of those who have been given the Book cast the Book of God behind their backs, as if they know not.”

And according to Sura 3:2-4:  “(2) God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal. (3) He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah [First Five Books Of Moses In The Christian Bible] and the Gospel [Entire New Testament Of The Christian Bible]. (4) Aforetime Prior To The Quran], as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Criterion.  Those who have rejected God’s signs will have a severe punishment. God is Mighty, Able to take revenge.”

C-O-M-M-E-N-T-A-R-Y:  That God affirms the validity of the “Torah and the Gospel” is seen by the statement, “He sent down,” twice.  Why then do Muslims conclude that God corrupted His Own Books?

It also states that God “confirming what was before it.”  The Arabic phrase for “was before it” is [sorry; I do not have an Arabic keyboard], “ma bayna yadayhi.”  This literally means, “between His hands,” or “in His presence.”  Thus, the meaning is that the Qur’an is verifying Books that came before it.  And since these verses are teaching us that “the Gospel aforetime, as a guidance to mankind,” and never corrupted even to the time of the writing of the Qur’an, if any Book is corrupted, that would mean both the Qur’an and the Gospels are corrupted, or neither is at that point.

The word “sines,” refers to “revelations.”  Thus, God is affirming the inspiration and preservation and authority of the Gospels.

And since the Qur’an gives a warning, “those who disbelieve,” in “the Torah and the Gospels,” “shall have a severe punishment,” you would think Muslims would do well to better investigate their own religion instead of relying upon their false teachers.

And according to Sura 3:47-48:  “[47] She [Mary, the mother of Jesus] said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a child while no human being has touched me?’  He said, ‘Thus does God create whatsoever He will.’  When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is. [48] And He will teach him the Book, Wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel.

And according to Sura 3:50:  “[Jesus speaking] And [I come] confirming that which was before me, the Torah, and to make lawful unto you part of that which was forbidden unto you.  And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. So reverence God and obey Me.”

And according to Sura 3:64-65:  “[64] Say, ‘O People of the Book!  Come to a word common between us and you, that we shall worship none but God, shall not associate aught with Him, and shall not take one another as lords apart from God.’  And if they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we are submitters.’ [65] O People of the Book!  Why do you dispute concerning Abraham, as neither the Torah nor the Gospel was sent down until after him?  Do you not understand?”

And according to Sura 3:81:  “And [remember] when God made the covenant of the prophets:  ‘By that which I have given you of a Book and Wisdom [the Torah and the Gospels], should a messenger then come to you confirming that which is with you [the Torah and the Gospels], you shall surely believe in him and you shall help him,’  He said, ‘Do you agree and take on my burden on these conditions?’  They said, ‘We agree.’  He said, ‘Bear witness, for I am with you among those who bear witness.”

Note:  You are supposed to believe in Muhammed, who “confirmed” what was with the Jews and Christians.”

And according to Sura 3:84:  “Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘We believe in Allah and what has been revealed [the Torah] to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord -- we make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we ˹fully˺ submit.”

And according to Sura 4:47:  “O you unto whom the Book has been given! [Jews and Christians] Believe in what We [WHO IS “WE?”] have sent down, confirming that which is with you, before We [WHO IS “WE?”] blot out faces and turn them backwards, or curse them as We [WHO IS “WE?”] cursed those [JEWS who broke] the Sabbath.  And the Command of God shall be fulfilled.”

And according to Sura 4:136:  “O believers!  Have faith in Allah, His Messenger [MUHAMMED], the Book [the Qur’an] He has revealed to His Messenger, and the Scriptures [the Gospels] He revealed before [the Qur’an].  Indeed, whoever denies Allah, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day has clearly gone far astray.”

According to Sura 4:163:  “Indeed, We [WHO IS “WE?”] have sent revelation to you ˹O Prophet˺ as We [WHOIS “WE?”] sent revelation to Noah and the prophets [the Bible] after him.  We [WHO IS “WE?”] also sent revelation to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants, ˹as well as˺ Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon [the Old Testament Scriptures].  And to David We gave the Psalms.”

Continuing On:

Qur’an 5:43-49:  “[43] But why do they [the Jews] come to you [Mohammed] for judgment when they ˹already˺ have the Torah containing Allah’s judgment, then they turn away after all?  They are not ˹true˺ believers [if they ignore the instructions as given in the “Torah”].

[44] Indeed, We [WHO IS “WE?”] revealed the Torah, containing guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, made judgments for Jews.  So too did the rabbis and scholars judge according to Allah’s Book [the Torah], with which they were entrusted and of which they were made keepers.  So do not fear the people; fear Me!  Nor trade my revelations for a fleeting gain.  And those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down [the Torah], it is they who are ˹truly˺ the disbelievers.

[45] We {WHO IS “WE?”] ordained for them in the Torah, ‘A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth -- and for wounds equal retaliation.’  But whoever waives it charitably, it will be atonement for them.  And those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down [the Torah], it is they who are ˹truly˺ the wrongdoers.

[46] Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We [Who is “WE?”] sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah [“CONFIRMING”] revealed before Him [Jesus].  And We [WHO IS “WE?”] gave Him [Jesus] the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming [“CONFIRMING”] what was revealed in the Torah -- a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.

[47] Let the people of the Gospel [Christians] judge by what God has sent down [the Gospels] therein.  Whosoever judges not by that which God has sent down [the Gospel] -- it is they who are iniquitous.”

[48] And We [WHO IS “WE?”] have sent down unto thee [Mohammed] the Book [the Qur’an] in truth, confirming the Book [the Torah and the Gospels] that came before it [the Qur’an], and as a protector over it [the Qur’an is a “protector over” the Torah and Gospels; In Arabic the word for “protector” is, “muhaymin,” meaning “protector or guardian”].  So judge between them [the Torah and the Gospels] in accordance with what God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels], and follow not their [the Torah and the Gospels] caprices away from the truth [“the truth” of the Torah and the Gospels] that has come unto thee [Mohammed].”  For each among you We [Who is “WE?”] have appointed a law and a way.  And had God willed, he would have made you one community, but [he willed otherwise], that he might try you in that which he has given you [both the Torah and the Gospels and the Qur’an; but you are to judge via the Torah and the Gospels].  So vie with one another in good deeds [as spelled out in the Torah and the Gospels and the Qur’an].  Unto God shall be your return all together, and he will inform you of that wherein you differ [between the Torah and Gospels and the Qur’an; again, judging first by the Torah and the Gospels].

[49] And judge between them [both] in accordance with what God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels], and follow not their [the Qur’an’s] caprices.  And beware of them [the Qur’an’s], lest they tempt thee away from some part of that which God has sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] unto thee.  And if they turn away [from the Torah and the Gospels and] from Allah’s judgment [of you not abiding by the instructions in the Torah and the Gospels], know that it is Allah’s will to repay them for some of their sins [based upon the instructions in the Torah and the Gospels], and that many people are indeed rebellious.”

Note:  The phrase “come before him” in Arabic is once again, “ma bayna yadayhi,” meaning again, “between His hands,” or “in His presence.”  Thus, Jesus confirmed the “Torah” which was present in His time.  And since we have copies of the “Torah” prior to the time of Jesus, we can know what the Qur’an is confirming here.

Qur’an 5:65-68:  “[65] Had the People of the Book [Jews and Christians believed and been reverent, We would surely have absolved them of their evil deeds, and caused them to enter Gardens of bliss.

[66] Had they observed the Torah and the Gospel and that which was sent down unto them from their Lord, they would surely have received nourishment from above them and from beneath their feet.  There is a moderate community among them; but as for many of them, evil is that which they do!

[67] O Messenger [Muhammed]!  Convey that which has been sent down [the Qur’an] unto thee from thy Lord, and if thou dost not, thou wilt not have conveyed His message.  And God will protect thee from mankind.  Surely God guides not disbelieving people.

[68] Say, ‘O People of the Book [Jews and Christians]!  You stand on naught till you observe the Torah and the Gospel, and that which has been sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] unto you from your Lord.’  Surely that which has been sent down [the Torah and the Gospels] unto thee from the Lord will increase many of them in rebellion and disbelief.  So grieve not for disbelieving people.”

Qur’an 6:20:  “Those to whom We [WHO IS “WE?”] gave the Scripture recognize Him [Muhammed] ‘to be a true prophet’ as they recognize their own children.  Those who have ruined themselves will ever believe.”

NOTE:  How were the Jews and Christians supposed to “recognize Muhammed” as “a true prophet?”  By judging by their own “Scripture.”

Qur’an 6:91-92:  “(91) And they have not shown Allah His proper reverence when they said, ‘Allah has revealed nothing to any human being.’  Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘Who then revealed the Book [the Torah] brought forth by Moses as a light and guidance for people, which you split into separate sheets [the Ten Commandments] -- revealing some and hiding much?  You have been taught ˹through this Quran˺ what neither you nor your forefathers knew.’  Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘Allah revealed it!’  Then leave them to amuse themselves with falsehood. (92) And this is a blessed Book [the Torah] that We {WHO IS “WE?”] have sent down, confirming that [The Torah and the Gospels] which came before it [the Qur’an], that thou [Muhammed] mayest warn the Mother of Cities and those around her.  Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are mindful of their prayers.”

Qur’an 6:114:  “˹Say, O  Prophet,˺ ‘Should I seek a judge other than Allah while He is the One Who has revealed for you the Book [the Torah] ‘with the truth’ perfectly explained?’  Those who were given the Scripture [the Gospels] know that It has been revealed ‘to you’ from your Lord in truth.  So do not be one of those who doubt.”

NOTE:  Verse 115 states:  “The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice.  None can change His Words.  And He is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing.”  Since the Torah and the Gospels are confirmed by Allah, they have not been changed nor corrupted and should be the basis for Muslims to follow.

Qur’an 6:154-157:  “(154) Additionally, We [WHO IS “WE?”] gave Moses the Scripture [the Torah], completing the favour upon those who do good, detailing everything, and as a guide and a mercy, so perhaps they would be certain of the meeting with their Lord. (155) This is a blessed Book [the Torah We [WHO IS “WE?”] have revealed.  So follow It [the TORAH] and be mindful ‘of Allah,’ so you may be shown mercy. (156) You ‘pagans’ can no longer say, ‘Scriptures [the Torah] were only revealed to two groups before us and we were unaware of their teachings.’ (157) Nor can you say, ‘If only the Scriptures [the Torah] had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they.’  Now there has come to you from your Lord a clear proof -- a guide [the Torah] and mercy.  Who then does more wrong than those who deny Allah’s revelations and turn away from them [the Torah]?  We will reward those who turn away from Our [WHO IS “OUR?”] revelations with a dreadful punishment for turning away.

Qur’an 7:157:  “those who follow the Messenger [Moses], the unlettered Prophet, whom they find inscribed in the Torah and the Gospel that is with the, who enjoins upon them what is right, and forbids them what is wrong, and makes good things lawful for them, and forbids them bad things, and relieves them of their burden and the shackles that were upon them.  Thus those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the light that has been sent down with him; it is they who shall prosper.”

Note:  For those who teach that the “Messenger” referred to here is Muhammad, they are lying to you.  For Muhammad was not born yet, if he was born at all, until over 2,000 years later.

Qur’an 9:111:  “Truly God has purchased from the believers their souls and their wealth in exchange for the Garden being theirs.  They fight in the way of God, slaying and being slain. [It is} a promise binding upon Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran.  And who is truer to His pact than God?”

C-O-M-M-E-N-T-A-R-Y:  That the Gospel is still uncorrupted in the timing of the Qur’an is quite clear here.  Please have your lying “Standard Islamic Narrative” Shakes and Emmons explain this one away.

Qur’an 10:37:  “This Quran could not have been fabricated [by anyone] apart from God; rather, it is a confirmation of that which came before [The Torah and the Gospels] it [the Qur’an], and an elaboration of the Book [the Torah] in which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.”

Qur’an 10:94:  “So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We [WHO IS WE?] have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture [Jews and Christians; they have the truth] before you.  The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.”  Note:  When Muhammad was in doubt, he must go to what was revealed to Jews and Christians to verify what he was receiving from Allah.  Any deviation from the Torah and Christians Book would be in violation of that.

Qur’an 12:111:  “Certainly in their stories is a lesson for those possessed of intellect.  It [the Qur’an] is not a fabricated account; rather it [the Qur’an] is a confirmation of that which came before [the Torah and the Gospels] it [[the Qur’an], and an elaboration of all things, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.”

Qur’an 29:46:  “Do not argue with the People of the Book [the Christians] unless gracefully, except with those of them who act wrongfully.  And say, We believe in what has been revealed [the Gospels] to us and what was revealed [the Gospels] to you.  Our God and your God is ˹only˺ One. And to Him we ˹fully˺ submit.”

Qur’an 35:31:  “And that which We [AGAIN AND AGAIN, WHO IS “WE?”] have revealed unto thee from the Book [the Qur’an] is the truth, confirming what came before [the Torah and the Gospels] it [the Qur’an].  Verily God is of His servants Aware, Seeing.”

Qur’an 46:12:  “Yet before it [the Qur’an] there was the Book of Moses [the Torah], a guide and a mercy.  This is a Book [the Qur’an] that confirms in an Arabic tongue to warn wrongdoers, and a glad tiding for the virtuous.”

Qur’an 46:30:  “They said, ‘O our people!  Truly we have heard a Book [the Qur’an] sent down after Moses, confirming that which came before [the Torah] it [the Qur’an], guiding to the truth and to a straight road.”

Qur’an 48:29:  “Muhammad is the Messenger of God.  Those who are with him are harsh against the disbelievers, merciful to one another.  You see them bowing, prostrating, seeking bounty from God and contentment; their mark upon their faces is from the effect of prostration.  That is their likeness in the Torah.  And their likeness in the Gospel is a sapling that puts forth its shoot and strengthens it, such that it grows stout and rises firmly upon its stalk, impressing the sowers, that through them He may enrage the disbelievers.  God has promised forgiveness and a great reward to those among them who believe and perform righteous deeds.”

C-O-M-M-E-N-T-A-R-Y:  Notice that here the Qur’an continues to appeal to “the Torah” and “the Gospel” for conformation of Their teachings.  Plus, there is NO indication that either “the Torah” or “the Gospel” have been corrupted which is the lying “Standard Islamic Narrative.”

Qur’an 57:27:  “Then We sent Our messengers to follow in their footsteps, an We sent Jesus son of Mary, and We gave him the Gospel and placed kindness and mercy in the hearts of those who follow him.  And monasticism they invented -- We did not ordain it for them -- only to seek God’s Contentment.  Yet they did not observe it with proper observance.  So We gave those of them who believed their reward, yet many of them are iniquitous.”

Qur’an 61:6:  “And [remember] when Jesus Son of Mary said, ‘O Children of Israel!  Truly I Am the Messenger of God unto you, confirming that which came before Me in the Torah and bearing glad tidings of a Messenger to come after Me whose name is Ahmad.’  And when he came unto the with clear proofs [the Torah], they said, ‘This is manifest sorcery.’ ”

After all that:

M-Y  Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N  I-S:  Since the Qur’an teaches that the Bible is true and reliable, Written by God Himself, shouldn’t Muslims be studying and learning from that Book?  In Fact, even the Qur’an is telling Muslims to verify what is written in the Qur'an against what is written in the Bible, WITH THE BIBLE AS THE AUTHORITY; the final Word of God.

M-Y  Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N  A-L-S-O I-S:  Since the Qur’an teaches that the Bible is true, even during the supposed time of Muhammed, meaning the Jews and Christians have the same Scriptures that were available in the 7th century, but you Muslims teach that Judaism and Christianity is false, and the Bible has been corrupted and changed.  Then isn’t it also true that the Qur’an is false, since it teaches that the Bible is the True Word of God?  Who is right?  Your false teachers who say the Torah and Gospels have been corrupted.  Or Allah and his words?  And if neither is true, then no one has anything that is true and can be trusted, right?

M-Y  Q-U-E-S-T-I-O-N  T-H-E-N I-S:  Since the Bible is and has been 100% correct upon history, science, topography, dates, and everything else, why not trust it for your salvation?

Notice that God ALWAYS criticizes Christians for NOT OBEYING what was/is revealed to them in “the Gospels.”  But NEVER, EVER, FOREVER, does he say therefore, that “the Gospels” have been corrupted.  That is only a lying “Standard Islamic Narrative” propagated from your lying Shakes and Emmons.  For Heaven’s sake, put your own thinking cap on and GET A CLUE!

C) EVERY VERSE DISCUSSING MUHAMMAD

Here are the only four (4) verses:  Surah 3:144; 33:40; 47:2; 48:29.

Surah 3:144:  “Muhammad is not but a messenger.”  If we go to Surah 5:75, we find that this exact same phrase is used in the context of Jesus, “not but a messenger.”  The suggestion is that these are one and the same personages.

Also, “So if He was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels?”  This is the same question asked to the disciples of Jesus.  John 6:67.

Conclusion, the incursion of the made up “Muhammad” here for the original “Jesus” is incorrect.

Surah 33:40:  Note, the true Arabic translation and meaning is, “was not,” and not “is not,” and is therefore referring to a past event, and not a current evert.

Conclusion, this is in reference to Jesus (and not Muhammad), who really was not the father of any of the men.  Jesus was celibate; whereas the made-up Muhammad was not.

Surah 47:2:  “A ‘Mhmd,’ who only appears to die and is expected to return again is contextually directed towards Jesus, but this might also be a coded parallel for a contemporary figure for the Qur’anic insiders, Nehemiah ben Hushiel, the Exilarch, from Iraq, who conquered Jerusalem in 614 A.D., who was killed by a mob.

“With the death of Nehemiah ben Hushiel, the Judaic nation tried to grapple with the meaning of these events in terms of their literary heritage.  They would come to the Golden Gate to pray.  According to Jewish tradition, the Messiah of Joseph would die.  So Nehemiah must have been the Messiah of Joseph.  This means that the King Messiah was sure to follow.  However, before the King Messiah would appear, He would be preceded by Elijah the Prophet.  Their leaders said, ‘A Prophet is about to Come.’ ”  “PfanderFilms,” January 21, 2024.

Conclusion, the Qur’anic writers when referring to “Mhmd” originally meant Jesus.  For according to this Qur’anic verse, we know that only God, not Muhammad can be “removed from them their sins.”  See Mark 2:10.

Note, this was likely a heretical, rather than an orthodox idea of Jesus.

Surah 48:29:  This verse particularly mentions the “Torah,” and the “Gospel,” and says these people follow them.  The disciples of Jesus, would only follow Jesus and not Muhammad (who was supposed not born yet).  It is very easy to conclude that the verse originally stated, “Jesus, Messenger of Allah and those with Him,” because the “those” and the “Him” in the “Gospel,” are clearly the Disciples and Jesus, in this Qur’anic verse.  Plus, the parable of the “sower,” as recorded in Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, Luke 8:4-15, clearly is referring to one of Christ’s teachings.

Conclusion, this is speaking of Jesus and not Muhammad.  Compare Sura 19:30-31 to Psalm 113:2.
