SINS PLACEMENT

A) INTRODUCTION.

B) TO THE BIBLE.

A) INTRODUCTION

A correct understanding of the “Atonement” would be in order hear.  Simply put.  Christ takes upon Himself the confessed sins of the righteous and then those sins are transferred to Satan.  The ungodly bear their own sins as will be clearly shown below.

B) TO THE BIBLE

According to the Book of Leviticus, when the Priest puts his hand upon the “head” of the sin offering, he is in symbolism representing the transferring of sin from the Priest [in symbolism Christ] upon the “head” of the offering [in symbolism Satan].  See Leviticus 1:4; 3:2 & 8 & 13; 4:4 & 15 & 24 & 29 & 33; 8:14 & 18 & 22; 16:21; 24:14.

According to Second Chronicles 6:23, “the wicked” will have their sins placed upon their “own head[s].  Compare with Nehemiah 4:4.

According to Psalm 716, the LORD will reward “the persecutors,” verse 13, by placing their own sins “upon his own head.”  Compare with First Kings 2:37 & 44.

According to Ezekiel 9:10, the Lord will “recompense their way [the wicked’s way] upon their own head.”

According to Ezekiel 11:21, God “will recompense their way upon their own heads.”

According to Ezekiel 16:42, the Lord GOD “will recompense thy way [the wicked’s] upon thine head.”

According to Ezekiel 22:31, God will “recompense” the wicked “upon their heads.”  Compare with Ezekiel 7:3 & 8-9.

According to Ezekiel 44:12, anyone who causes another to sin, that person will “bear their iniquity.”  Compare with Matthew 18:6 & 7.

According to Joel 3:4, “Tyre,” identified as Satan in Ezekiel 28:12-14, will have his sins (all sins, because he, as pointed out in Ezekiel 44:12, caused all to sin), “recompence[d] upon your own head.”

According to Obadiah 1:15, the LORD shall “reward the “heathen” by placing their sins “upon thine own head.”
