Acupuncture

A) INTRODUCTION.

D) UNDERSTANDING THE DANGER.

A) INTRODUCTION

Acupuncture comes from the Latin, “acus,” meaning “needle,” and “pungere,” meaning, “to prick.”

According to “Hopkins Medicine,” “Acupuncture points are believed to stimulate the central nervous system.  This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain.  These biochemical changes may stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.”  Thus, this would be why people engage in the practice.

B) FACTS

According to the “World Health Organization,” out of the 129 recognized countries, 103 practice forms of Acupuncture.  That is, 103 report data.  Thus, there could be more.

Testimonies of a survey of 6,000 participants stated that they received some sort of relief, except for all who went in for neck pain, they received no relief.

C) ORIGIN

Approximately a little over 2,000 years ago, Acupuncture originated in China, under the supervised religion of “Daoism.”  See my Bible Study:  “TAOISM.”  That doesn’t necessarily make Acupuncture bad.  But when anything is associated with Satanic entities, buyer-beware.  Basically, Daoism, or Taoism, understands that sickness is caused by the disruption of the balance between Yin and Yang.  Which basically again, is the balance between good and bad.  Herein lies the problem.  Good should have NOTHING to do with bad or attempting to compromise with bad.

D) UNDERSTANDING THE DANGER

Acupuncturists believe and understand that by inserting the needle, they are using the instrument that contains a spirit; knowing that certain puncture points of the body can control specific actions of the body.  This takes it beyond the scientific realm and directly into the spiritual aspect.

Later adaptations of Acupuncture came about by believing witches could stick needles into dolls that represented certain individuals and they could torment them.  Obviously, demonic forces would need to be called upon for this practice to achieve any sort of success.

Just like any “get rich quick” scheme is just that, attempting to cure oneself quickly via Acupuncture can be exposing yourself to a demonic world you do not understand.  If the practice of Acupuncture can be separated from the philosophy/worldview and one is receiving relief, perhaps Acupuncture is an option.  However, a Christian cannot knowingly agree with the practice.

A main point would be that most people who do receive relief, also according to the study sighted above, have the pain keep coming back, thus more treatments and more exposure to who knows what.  Or, if that doesn’t help keep you away, how about your costs for treatments are going to keep rising as you now will need more treatments to keep up with the pain.
